"Infested Room by Ants and Flies"

6.0

Ants crawling on the floor and flies everywhere in the room (plunge pool pavilion). Cleanliness of the hotel is disappointing. The food in the dinner restaurant is average but very overpriced (ingredients not fresh neither do the taste worth the price). Environment and neighborhood is good - quiet and calm. Generally speaking, please improve the cleanliness of the rooms and it will be worth the price it stated.

"Quiet Moutain Retreat"

10.0

Fabulous hotel - we had room with a personal plunge pool which was spectacular. The staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. There is a shuttle bus to Changi Mai but only 13 places so if you wish to use this facility book early. Other than going into Chang Mai little else to do apart from hiking - don't bother to go to the Wat on the hill seen from the hotel this year at least as it is just under construction and is a bare shell.

"Terrible service, particularly at the restaurant. "

4.0

Terrible service, particularly at the restaurant. Expect more at this price. Everything inside the resort is particularly overpriced even when compared to western hotels.

"Stylish architecture in the hills of Chiang Mai"

10.0

Enjoyed a 6 night stay in the hills of Chiang Mai. Stylish modern hotel with manicured gardens, infinity pool and views to a temple on the hilltop. Free shuttle bus from the hotel 3 times a day into central Chiang Mai which is 25 mins drive away. Shuttle times allow for the night bazaar to be visited. Use an airport taxi as a driver for a the day to visit all the adventure sites in North west of the city for eg: Tiger Kingdom, Zipline and Shooting Range. Went out of hotel to the local village and was able to get cheap eats and shops to prevent one paying the over inflated hotel prices. Had the complimentary breakfast each day which is best. Used the hotel gym and one can rent bicycles or walk around the locality to find the local temple and even walk up to the top of the mountain to the big temple there. Enjoyed staying outside of Chiang Mai after a day's sightseeing to enjoy the peace and serenity of the hotel and its surroundings. Room service is good and lovely setting for an evening meal and cocktail too. Went in early July and the rains had not yet really started.

"Wonderful stay for my first time at Ching Mai"

8.0

Definitely a quiet and relaxing place for holidays. The pool is not big but it is never over-crowded during my stay. Though there is only one restaurant for dinner, the food quality is excellent at reasonable price. Also, my little girl likes the kid's club as there is a variety of toys. The only drawback I think is that the choices at breakfast buffet is a bit limited, where it will be great to provide more Thai food.

"Great value of money, amazing and stunning hotel"

10.0

We were a bit worried about the remote location of the hotel at first but were totally thrilled by the stunning and breath-taking design of the hotel. Fabulous and comfortable room with open bathtub. Very much delighted with the hotel toiletries - little bottles filled with aromatic scents by Thann. Enjoy swimming overlooking the green scenery. A very relaxing getaway, will definitely stay longer next time.

"Extreme place ever!"

10.0

This place is amazing! We had stayed there for two nights and we loved it. They've a well done of services, fabolous pool view, privacy, quiet place and the area are pretty clean. And we highly recommended for the spa, that was gorgeous. The price was a little bit high but it's not too bad if you're really want to relax with a forest view out of window from your private spa room and you can the spa bath tub in the same room as well. Hope you are enjoy everything with your trip in Veranda as same as we were enjoy it. :)
