The location of this place is unmatchable. We will be back despite some issues with our stay because it's simply stunning. The beach club staff was excellent, Emmanuelle was on top of our orders and always close by to get us drinks and food. My complaint is about the hotel and house keeping staff and some issues we had here: 1) We had a real metal key because they could not get their digital keys to work. Kind of a pain to carry around, and then we only had 1, which is hard when you have two people staying in the same room. 2) the first day our shower flooded the whole room! We came to find out that they were doing maintenance on their sewer tank but nobody warned us not to shower or that it would back up into the room. 3) They hold raves on Saturday and Sunday night. The beach club is filled with hundreds of people and the thumping music goes until 2 am. If you were hoping to go to bed early, that's not going to happen over the weekend. 4) We will be renting a car next time we come. The shuttle is not dependable, and you're trapped at the resort without them. The taxis know this and rip you off so badly. We probably spent $1300 euros in taxis just to get around. 5) The housekeeping staff removed a personal item from our room that nobody seemed to know where to find on the morning of our departure. When they finally found, they expected me to pay for shipping even though I did not leave it behind on purpose. The hotel ignore my messages on What'sApp about it

Location was unique, boutique like and very clean. Free shuttles up to the town was very handy, and easy to arrange. All the staff were super friendly, especially at reception

Location is fantastic, the free shuttle to sorrento is a massive bonus, some of the staff were brilliant, food and drink was good.

Some staff were really rude and made it feel not very comfortable, the room wasn’t clean when we arrived with shavings on the floor, dirty glass and other bits, but they did rectify this, however used glasses weren’t not replaced the whole stay! The door to the bathroom was broken, I informed them and they even saw it when we arrived but it was never fixed.

We stayed at Maya Beach Experience as part of our wedding week. As soon as we arrived, the staff knew it was such a special occasion & they could not be more welcoming & nice! Carla & Nahir at reception were excellent, Nahir showed us around the resort immediately & Carla arranged a bottle of fizz & a delicious desert to be sent to the room for our wedding gift. The breakfast was excellent too, offering a nice buffet (mimosas included) with fresh croissants & fruit etc. There is also a QR code menu where you can order all kinds of toast, eggs, avocado etc. We had the Maya special every morning which was excellent! Roberto was serving most mornings & he was also made aware of our wedding, so he was happy to serve up the bubbles straight away! On days that we spent at the beach club, the vibe was cool and not overly busy (late May/early June) and again, the staff were rapid to respond with anything you need. Again, Roberto was on hand and later in the week, Joseph was also excellent! Again, you scan the QR for the menu & there is a wide range from ceasar salads to sushi and everything italian in between! The food is superb! The pool is also great, but it is salt water. This is something we have absoloutely no issue with but was not in the description. There is a DJ playing medium volume chill out house tunes all day which we loved! There is also a dining area where you can have lunch at a table should you not want to eat at your sunlounger! Matteo was great on lunch service too! The weekend evenings at the Maya are excellent if you like a bit of a party. They start at 7pm & go on until 2am with famous DJs playing, the pool area is turned into a night time gig/nightclub and the sound system is excellent too! We loved this part of the holiday! Before raving, the sunset from the terrace restaurant is magnificent!! Overall, we had the best time at The Maya and will definitely be back!!

There was nothing at the Maya Beach Experience that we didn't like although the travel from Naples airport takes almost 2 hours & the roads are congested & windy. This is the worst part of the holiday for sure, but on the other hand, if it was closer to the airport you would not have such an amazing setting for a hotel and beach club which is literally embedded in the Sorrento coast rocks! So... no complaints!
