Maya Beach Resort

A good and pleasant hotel. The pool is great. It's quiet and nice to be a bit farther from Sorrento. Free shuttles are convenient to the city. The drive down to the hotel isn't bad at all.

The water in the pool are salty Some things in the room did not function as expected But overall, a great hotel

The views and the two lady staff members at the desk were helpful when they were there.

This is NOT a 5 start resort, our first night e head no hot water until after 2am, then when we got hot water it was so hot it burned my skin.. the night staff kept hanging up on me when they finally did answer. I requested 2 times for them to NOT enter my room and clean or change the bedding and they didn’t anyways. The shower wall looked like it had mildew. I wasn’t aware that the property was open to the public daily and I left my glasses in the pool area bathroom and went back 1 hour to get them and someone stole them. I complained and the manager never came introduced himself or anything we weren’t offered anything for our troubles. We requested and iron and was told we had to wait until the next day because another room had it. How does each room NOT have there own amenities. I wont stay there again unless they make major improvements

Walter and his team where exceptional, they made our 30th wedding anniversary stay very special and went above and beyond. The hotel was beautiful, clean and the pool area was great. We dined in the restaurant a few times and the food was of high quality.

The only thing negative I would say is that we didn't realise we couldn't walk out, however the shuttle the hotel provided was great and we used it almost every day. Maybe a shuttle around 10.00pm or 10.30pm would be a good idea ,as the 9.30 shuttle got booked up quickly and then we had to wait for the 11pm shuttle.

The hospitality was of a very high standard, spacious rooms, close to the city, about a 15-minute drive, there are shuttles from the hotel, very helpful staff, they responded to every request, there is a restaurant in the hotel that is open until late and a pizzeria that works until the evening, the pool is in a good location facing the sea and mountain views, I will definitely be back.

I would improve the breakfast, it was very good but without many options.
