Would not refund a stay that we had b booked after our trip to Antarctica was cancelled by National Geographic.

The location is excellent, with beautiful views that really enhance the stay. The restaurant staff were particularly attentive and professional, making the dining experience very enjoyable. Overall, the setting and service stood out the most.

A significant part of the ground floor (an entire wing) is currently under renovation, so the hotel facilities are not as they appeared when I visited previously. Despite this, prices remain high, which does not reflect the reduced amenities. There is also ongoing construction next to the hotel, with constant noise during the day and workers shouting throughout. Additionally, some staff at the main desk came across as somewhat arrogant and not particularly welcoming.

Didn’t tell us there was massive building works. One of the rooms smelt very bad. Staff were generally quite dismissive and a bit passive aggressive
