Hampton Inn Columbus/Delaware I-71 North

The bathroom is like chipping away (caulking?) looks kind of gross. But it was clean and the people were nice.

Carpet in the rooms felt sticky. Pool water was not clear. Breakfast was not managed properly, ran out of food daily

Stay somewhere else... the electrical outlets looked great by the bed but didn't work so charging phones was a mess ( bring your extension cord!), no coffee or bathroom cups for the K-cup, the toilet handle was loose, water temp control in shower was either hot or cold, SO many small things that add up to lack of upkeep.... disappointing, especially as the room price was NOT cheap .. Front desk staff very nice but could only listen. overheard 2 other guests with similar issues. thank goodness mattress was good!

Worst Hampton Inn I ever stayed at. They have the signage and nothing else. This location is poorly run and needs repair. Furniture is stained, carpet was torn and my room had some type of bugs in it. I expressed my concerns and asked to speak to the general manager but muhammad never returned any of my calls. I had to file a complaint with corporate. My doctor said I had either bed bug bites or flea bites. When I finally did get to speak to muhammad, I explained the situation, told him I had pictures, a doctors note and cleaning bills. He told me I was making it up, there were no issues and started yelling at me that the room was fine. Not the service or accommodations you expect from a Hampton Inn.

The caulking in the shower was molded. One of the back couch pillows was completely torn and the inside was hanging out. Taking the stairs this morning there was trash in the stairwell. I always stay at Hampton Inns and this one was by far the worse.

Staff were very rude. Other guests literally walked into rooms that smelled of mildew with fans running. Generally a poor experience.
