Sonesta Milwaukee West Wauwatosa

The room was nice and clean, unfortunately the restaurant was closed and the housekeeping was not available during the stay. But the front desk was always willing to help out with any requests. Would definitely give it another try and recommend it.

Nothing

Everything. It was dirty. The furniture was old and chipped. It smelled.

Property is secure and fairly clean. I would stay here again. They are nearing a renovation time so the restaurant wasnt open. Coffee in room is K cup style so you can bring your own but the 2 pods provided were good. Shower had decent pressure. Would like to see more chains offering bidets, but more of a wish.

Bedbugs

No fridge or microwave in the rooms at all!!! The microwave you are expected to use is in the lobby, and it is very small. If you're lucky, you won't have to wait your turn to use it. If you want tea in the morning, you have to bring your own as they have no tea bags just coffee. You would think that a selection of different teas would be something every hotel has on hand.

This place has really gone in the wrong direction. Clearly understaffed. Young people at front desk. No sign of a manager and if they were on property, no name tag visible. Very busy place, mold in bathroom, tiles missing around the shower, Full garbage outside. Carpets dirty. Elevator carpet with logo very dirty. Floor under carpet, big black grease marks, sticky from floor tape. I told front desk after I interrupted their personal conversation to inform of issues. No action, nothing. This place is a no go for us. Too bad, it used to be a Crown Plaza but now it is a lower end hotel for people that clearly abuse the property. Smoking outside as you exit the door is constant. Butt station full, bench dirty and occupied by smokers.
