Cigarette smell waft in via the aircon when my room is a non-smoking room at a non-smoking level thanks to inconsiderate local tourists. Thankfully the room change helped.

Good hotel with great service. It's highly appreciated of hotel staff to grant one more free breakfast. I will stay this hotel again next time!

The location of the hotel is very convenient. Breakfast is also nice.

We stayed here for 5 nights as we were exhibiting across the street. The hotel staff are quite good and attentive. The executive lounge is a bit weird as its tucked inside a corner of the Sphere restaurant ( where you eat your breakfast) The only negative is my spouse got food poisoning from the lounge food the second night. She said the rice in the sushi tasted funny, so my only suggestion is to avoid the sushi in the lounge - just to be safe A vast selection of restaurants near the venue including a Uygar and numerous Hot Pots. A family mart, 7 eleven and some small restaurants directly across the street The hotel is clean and comfortable with very attentive staff. Its a bit pricey for a Holiday Inn but its very convenient with easy access to the subway system within 5 minutes walk

It is in a good location if you have expo in century city hall. Nearby are many restaurants and shops.

I was booked into this hotel by the conference I was attending. I actually tried to find another hotel for the 2nd and 3rd nights, but couldn't find a place nearby. Problems: 1) smelled really funky; 2) even a short shower flooded the bathroom making it unsafe to walk in without slipping and using all of the towels to sop up the water, and it was not clean... assuming that was because it is constantly flooded (might explain the small also); 3) weird dripping sound in the walls periodically through the night that seems to be connected to the heat/cool that doesn't actually work; 4) water in room is not drinkable, and only 2 bottled waters provided; 5) dinner buffet was only ok, and, 5) no mini bar or options for a drink with dinner buffet. I travel a lot, and I've stayed in worse places, but this was unexpectedly poor for a conference hotel. Hint: Try the area restaurants and stay away from the hotel buffets. The restaurant next door to the hotel is good. Even picking up protein bars at a local store is a better option for eating with additional bottled waters to stay hydrated. On the positive side -- it was a short walk to the conference center where they provided bottled water, and it is located in an area that is nice for getting out and walking around to find decent food and fresh air.

Pros: -Breakfast spread is pretty international, they have a wide selection of japanese, dim sum, fruits, bakery, live noodles/dumpling station, eggs station etc etc. Breakfast is from 6am to 10am. -Housekeeping did fulfilled my request of 10 bottles daily but some misses by housekeeping team which will be mentioned in the cons section. -Special priority queue for IHG Elite Members and welcome drink for IHG Elite Members. -7-11 and KFC are just opposite the hotel main entrance, in case if you need some western food or convenience store. -Gym looks clean and well maintaned, with a staff there manning the gym. -Duty Manager Andrea communicated with me prior to arrival and extending complimentary breakfast, which was a very lovely gesture of him. -Had an ac issue with the room and Guest Relations Dorothy immediately arranged another room for me and arranged canned drinks for me and my partner. -Guest Relations Iris that assisted with me the checkout was very helpful in arranging a taxi and takeaway breakfast. Cons: -Location is not very fantastic as it claims to be 10 minutes walk from Century City Subway station but it turns out to be at least 15 minutes if you know the way. If you are taking the Subway, exit from Exit A, cross an overhead bridge and walk across Swan Lake to find the hotel. Directions were not clear and I ended at the back of the hotel which was the breakfast restaurant. No arrow signs were indicated on the signage at the door of the restaurant. -Room is a little dated and old, lift corridor is very dark and looks scary especially if you are travelling alone. -Housekeeping team have to take note of attention to details when topping up guest amenities. On one day, I realised the tea bags were not topped up and the other day, the shower cap was not topped up. -The major con of the stay has to be the ac. The AC was not working and they placed in a fan in the room prior to arrival. Which means they already know that the AC was not working yet I was not informed upon checking in. I had to change room at night because it was really unbearable. -I had an extension of stay and was communicated to the lady upon check in, yet on the second last day, my key card was not working! -Did ordered room service during my stay, and I wasn't informed how long the order will take, if the dish was spicy or not. And when the noodles which I ordered arrived, it was covered up with cling wrap and it wasn't even piping hot which I had requested. -Lastly the big con is the security at the hotel. I returned to the hotel alone one night, and a lady followed me into the lift saying she forget her room key and requested to go to a different level from mine. Unfortunately, my key card didn't work and I told the lady that I had to go to the counter to check, her face turned nasty and walked away. After I had been issued a new key, and I was rushing to the lift, another man followed and rushed into the lift with me. Despite the lift doors closing, he stretched out his arm to stopped the lift. He pressed the button on the second floor, and before the lift reached the second floor, he asked if I wanted a massage and passed me a namecard which a lady's silhouette on it. How can this be acceptable?! Overall it was an average stay, but some team members did made it memorable.

Hotel is ok but they turn the AC off in all rooms for a few months despite no ventilation. Mine hit 30 deg c and was unbearable to sleep. Hotel is close by to shopping precinct but others around that are better

It a good hotel....staff are very helpful (despite many dont speak english)...the room that I got was good size room, Breakfast was a great selection. the hotel is very well located and you have many retaurants withing a minute of walking distance. Stayed two nights before a river cruise
