There wasn't any breakfast or coffee available due to staffing shortage. Apparently, the overnight shift did not show up for work. With that said, the morning shift was trying their best but breakfast and coffee were not available at approximately 6:45 am before we had to leave the hotel.
Room was nice and clean, bed and pillows are comfortable. However, the main reason we chose this hotel, and paid a more than any other in town, was the free breakfast - to save time and money as we would be heading out quickly. The sign showed that the breakfast would be out at 6:30am. We went to the area at 7:30, and nothing was out except for a couple of bananas. Thought, well at least there is coffee before we hit the road - which there was - but it was cold coffee, very bitter, so probably from the previous day. Not worth the extra $
Property was nice, the staff was pleasant.
The hotel and grounds were clean and nice. The bed was truly amazing.
This hotel has a pest control problem. Our ice chest was filled with ants in the morning when we woke up. Also, found several cockroaches and a spider in our room. The breakfast was included burn eggs, poor coffee, cereal but no milk, biscuits but no gravy and yogurt that was not refrigerated just sitting on the counter.
Staff was hospitable, room along with other amenities were clean.
Checkin deal not staffed, bell did not work, staff that shows up doe checkin was not friendly. I asked for a restaurant recommendation, the response was I don’t eat out, here is your key. The ice machine was out of order, the TV control did not work, the room smelled like Bengay. At checkout the desk was not staffed. When the desk staff returned from smoking out front I asked if coffee was available. He brought me a cup of coffee without asking what I wanted. He never said a word to me. There was no information about breakfast. There was almost nothing in the snack, drink and food area at the front desk
Close to family
Booked by mistake. Never checked in, called to cancel, said it would be yet cc was charged. Hotels.com has gone down hill and i will be not using it anymore.
Bathroom was not clean. Tub was gross and there was a ring around the toilet bowl.
