Silverado II Resort & Event Center

I found the room to be very cold. The fire place did not work tried adjusting the room thermostat itself and that didn’t seem to make a difference.

This is an older property that has been kept up well. Fully stocked with the essentials. We had a medical emergency while staying and had the most generous and gracious assistance during our time of need. Pool and hot tubs were in working order. Extremely pleasant staff.

Room keycode didn't work; had to enter multiple times and call for help. Rooms were terribly out dated and needed renovation. Rooms weren't clean, patio door broke, beds minimal for comfort. There was a medical pill left on the carpet, etc., etc. Worst stay I've ever had with RCI.

Chelsea and Brendan appear to be trying to maintain the facility on their own; they were responsive, helpful, and overall very kind, but the facility itself is run down, not clean (we needed to change units because of an array of filth in the first one: bathrooms not clean, dirty dishes in dishwasher, food remnants in fridge & microwave, coffee let in the pot, etc.). Second unit was better...not great but better. And due to no management available at the time (we were told it was due to a family emergency), we did not receive any acknowledgement or efforts to make amends by upper management. Being able to park in a garage was good and the size of the unit was good for our group. We made the best of a challenging situation.

The resort is located about 10 minutes from Winter Park Ski Resort and the shuttle picks up and drops off at the resort. Can't beat that! Could use some minor repair work to spruce it up but overall it was clean, well equipped and met all our needs. Would definitely stay there again.

Large 2 bedrooms. Garage with ski lockers. Free shuttle pickup. Nice pool and hot tubs. Continuing to update units. Not enough staff to care for it all. Front desk person tries to do so many things. There is no restaurant or bar on site, but the town center has great options.

This property is very run down and not maintained. Water stains on ceiling and peeling stucco on the hot tubs. No one at the desk, ever, so very difficult to get anything addressed. Our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and there were no basics stocked in the room. No S&P, No dish or dishwasher soap, No spare TP.

Room not ready on time, virtually no staff, rooms in disrepair. Can’t believe this is an RCI timeshare! No one at front desk, and no one answers the phone. Be sure to bring your own soap! Door locks are keypad coded but don’t work well at all , should have been fixed or replaced long ago.☹️

The resort is on great location, with indoor parking. The room is big and with everything you could need. Gregory was great and the only person as staff: he cleans, he is at front desk, everything!!! It needs maintenance, but worked ok for us.

It was very nice and relaxing. Everything we needed was present for us. Amanda the manager in duty was very kind and helpful.
