the rest of the building was terrible, there was not enough food out during breakfast for all the guests, there was no AC in the lobby or hallways amd the pool was falling apart. Then they made you put a card on file for incidentals and then double charged everyone for the rooms they still owe me $433.00!

When this reservation was booked, it was a Best Western. When we arrived very late in the evening, there was a Best Western sign at the street, but when we drove up to the building, the sign on it said it was a City Express by Marriott. Thinking we must not be at the right hotel, we drove a bit farther through the parking lot, but there were no other hotels. Went back and asked front desk staff if we were in the right place and were told it had transitioned a week prior to our arrival, and if we had used Best Western reward points for payment, they weren't valid any longer. When we got to our room, it appeared that it hadn't been cleaned very well, there weren't enough towels or toilet paper, and the toilet was clogged. Called the front desk and after quite some time, a staff member arrived to unclog the toilet and bring more towels and TP. After two days of returning to the hotel and our room not having been serviced, we called the front desk once again to ask for clean towels and TP. After a couple hours, we finally went down to ask and some were brought out to us. Our microwave didn't work, so we went to the lobby to use the one there; it didn't work either and when we asked a staff member about it, they just said, "I don't know", and didn't offer any assistance. Not even once did we get an apology or anything even resembling one. At one point, we asked a couple who happened to be in the elevator with us how their stay was going and they told us it hadn't been good. Their room door was open when they arrived, and it hadn't been cleaned well either. We also noticed as we were walking to and from our room that quite a few of the room doors were ajar and we joked that hopefully no one was staying in them! We thought it was very unprofessional that we weren't notified by either hotel or Booking.

USLocation of the hotel was great, the staff was also great, but one staff member " Nicole" was awesome at the front desk at check-in & check-out. Room was great, but had a few flaws though.
My room had a few bad flaws, but comfortable. Swimming pool needed to be clean, and the computer was trying to charge me for the room when I already paid for it... SmDh on that situation 🤦♂️. Refrigerator was rocking back & forth, no coffee pot in the room and bathroom door was hard to close or open from the top of frame.
