Other than the elevator not working, it was a great stay. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful!

My stay was nice and relaxing

I made a reservation through Hotels.com on September 27, 2023 for a stay on Thursday, February 1, 2024. At first, it appeared that we were staying in a very nice hotel. However, when we arrived on the 3rd floor, there was construction going on in part of the hallway. Our room was located smack-dab in the middle of the construction. The room was nice, but I would have expected advance notice about the construction, assignment to a room in a different location outside the construction, or a significant discount.

Where to begin? To start with, the heat fan was very noisy, the toilet leaked and every 45 minutes or so it would refill the tank and the sink drain did not stop the water from going out of the bowl when I was trying to shave, such a waste of water. The toilets are made to suit the little people of our world, not the 80+ year old, 6 foot high, 230 pounds and had both knees replaced. The toilets should be made to suit the average person and provide the little people a stool to get on and off. The walls are thin and people can be heard in the adjacent room and walking in the hallway. To add insult to injury, we paid $140.87 for the one night and was expected to pay for our breakfast, they do not offer a continental breakfast for free, like the "lower class" hotels/motels do. Thank goodness the Cracker Barrel was right next door, where for less money, we received an excellent breakfast. To me, our stay here was a waste of my money.

Our stay here was good!! The breakfast wasn’t the best. Pancake maker worked one day and then was out of order. Maybe a different meat offered besides sausage every day would have been good. I think all guest should have been told they would be doing construction ahead of time. One day the water was off for a few hours starting at 11am. They hung a sign on the elevator door the night before. Slight inconvenience since that was the day we were going to the pool and had to wait to shower. The pool was great though! Everyone there was very nice as well!

My husband and I stayed in Room 201 on Dec 26th, 2023. The room was clean, and comfortable. We had great water pressure in the shower. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. There were scrambled eggs, 2 different types of egg omelets to choose from, pancakes, toast, bagels, Hashbrowns 2 different types of sausage-links, patties. Cereal and Warm cinnamon rolls. The breakfast area was very clean and tidy. We checked in at 8:45 the night before, my husband said that the staff was very friendly. The hotel is right across the road from Applebees and Wendy’s. There are several other conveniences in close proximity, such as a Bojangles, Starbucks, Sheetz and Walmart. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again! It had everything I needed while traveling.

I was disappointed with the cleanliness of my room since this has not been a problem in the past. This stay was during the Christmas holiday and the staff maintenance did not enter the room to empty the garbage, change the towels or make up the beds. I personally had to do these chores myself. The hotel is under renovation but that was not an issue with me because it will be an upgrade on appearance and comfort. I just don't like to work for my hotel stay.

The staff and manager were awesome. They had maybe the best breakfast ever. But, but…yes, this is a BIG one. They are replacing pipes and have one side of every floor in heavy construction. The elevator had dry wall dust everyone, plastic protector everywhere. They are booking rooms right next to all that so early and til 7 pm, you get to hear and smell construction. They really should have shut down for this to be completed. It is not the staff’s fault but again, would ask about this project before booking a room.

Very nice breakfast came with our stay. Nice room.
