Holiday Inn Express Norwich by IHG

A great stay. The hotel staff were all brilliant. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast great. Rooms very well designed.

Enjoyed our stay. Modern accommodations. Helpful staff. Breakfast time frame was great but would have liked more fruit options. Evening ala carte options pricey but tasted good. ASDA grocery store walking distance and convenient. Quick taxi ride to the University of East Anglia for only £10.

First time staying In holiday inn, we normally stay in another budget chain but fancied a change. Parking was a bit limited, it was free but i am not sure if you can park slightly to the right if all the hotel labelled parking was full, this put us off jumping in the car and going to find some dinner, The staff were nice and friendly, couldn't fault them Our room though, we walked in and the ac was on full, so the room was freezing after a bit of playing around with the settings we managed to get the room warmed up a bit. The bathroom was ok but the shower taps were coming off the wall, we didn't tell reception as we were only there for a night. The shower still worked. I found it took an age for the hot water to come though the normal bathroom tap but thankfully the shower was faster to get hot. The bed was pretty hard, with a soft and firm pillow each, the duvet was nice and warm though. The tv was at an angle, facing out of the window, very strange. Breakfast was a bit disappointing to be fair, we felt that the area to eat was much like a school cafeteria. Very loud and was impossible to relax. There wasn't much of a selection. Few fry up options, standard egg, sausages and bacon. Then toast, plan croissants, mini muffins, few selections of cereal.The coffee was terrible! We didn't finish it and stopped at a Starbucks once we had left the hotel! We are in the area a few times during the year visiting family but I think we won't being staying here again, which is a shame.

A perfect wind down 4 nights stay. There was access to a David Lloyd centre but we didn’t use it. Coffee & tea making in room no biscuits and better bean coffee for £1 available in snack bar. Breakfast was usual help yourself buffet. Fresh whole fruit not fresh fruit salad. Managed to satisfy our quite fussy tastes.

Very clean and convenient

On arrival I was concerned with the surrounding buildings and the area in general but my thoughts soon changed upon walking in through the doors. The hotel is clean, bright, spacious, with a warm welcome from staff throughout the stay. My room was clean and spacious, the air conditioning was a welcome reprieve following on from a long, slow and very hot journey. The shower was great, shower gel, shampoo and hand soap all provided, the towels, clean, fresh and soft!! Due to time constraints and visiting alone, I ate food at the hotel which, is a bit pricey but was good, well presented, plenty of it, hot and served quickly. Breakfast was super, a great selection of hot cooked food plus a wide continental selection of cereals, fresh fruit, jams, bread and unlimited tea, coffee, juices etc! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and professional, nothing was too much effort for them.... Parking was good, free A fab all round experience from an 'off the cuff' booking. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely book again when next in the area for work/business/training!!

Convient place on outskirts of Norwich. Clean and spacious, rooms clean tidy. Supermarket on doorstep.

Its been a great experience very good location and most of the things on walking distance will definitely stay again.
