Palm Royale Resort - Soma Bay

This is not our first time at the hotel and certainly won’t be our last. From the minute the taxi pulled up, we were treated like special guests, reception staff are friendly and very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for the happy smiling staff. The rooms our spotlessly clean and the room attendants do a sterling job, always with a friendly hello when passing them in the hallways. The gardens are immaculate with beautiful lawns and well tended plants and trees. Every gardener you pass says good morning or good afternoon. The food in the cafe Stella restaraunt is a feast for the eyes as well as being fresh tasty and plentiful, such care is put into the presentation, there is everything you could possibly want for breakfast, although I mainly opted for the fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. The freshly cooked pasta and pizza is a great option as well as gluten free options available, there really is something for everyone. Dinner alfresco every evening is also great. We also visited each of the four A’la carte restaurants during our stay, however some were better than others, the Asian delights was amazing with authentic tastes, great presentation and attentive staff, this was our favourite, followed by the Lebanese restaurant, with the lovely lady who sits making breads everyday and gave me fresh warm bread when I was filming her or even if I just said good afternoon to her, she smiled and chatted away. The Greek was ok but could be better and the Italian isn’t worth writing about. But this could be down to personal taste, each restaurant was well themed and you truly felt like you were not in Egypt whilst visiting the themed restaurants. Everyday when we walked to the beach we were greeted like old friends, from Mr Egypt in the aqua centre, to the man on the bracelet and gift stall, everyday laughter and banter with them. The beach bar staff and Johnny’s bar staff ( some the same staff) were always funny up for banter, entertaining, happy and made sure we always had a drink in hand. We visited the beautiful Spa area every morning for an hours swim in the beautiful heated pool. This was great apart from it says quiet area and yet people with children turn up that are loud and screaming babies etc. personally I think it should say adults only as it is supposed to be a quiet place to relax and chill out. I visited the spa twice during my stay for The VIP experience Hammam and massage by the wonderful Marian. Adam the Spa salesman ( not sure what else to call him) is a really lovely young man who we chatted to at length about random stuff and families etc, again lots of laughs and banter. He made sure we were taken care of. I also made use of the Beauty parlour upstairs and had a pedicure whilst here, as I didn’t have time before we came away. All in all we have had a wonderful relaxing holiday and will be booking to return again next year, we can’t wait, The Palm Royale truly is a place like no other. 🥰

I’ve travelled all over the world, but this hotel feels like a second home - and that is purely down to the people. I often think I should try somewhere new, but when it comes to truly relaxing, I always seem to come back here. From my very first visit many years ago, I was made to feel so welcome. Now, the care and attention I receive each time makes me feel genuinely special. Everyone is consistently kind, warm and incredibly helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful. The beach is wonderful, the pool areas are spacious with plenty of sun beds everywhere. The beautiful gardens are always immaculately maintained. The rooms are clean, comfortable and very well cared for. The restaurants are excellent, with delicious international food and plenty of choice, whether you want something simple or a special evening meal. Everything is maintained to such a high standard, which is one of the many reasons I continue to return year after year. What also stands out is that many of the staff are still here from my very first visit, which says a great deal about how well they are treated. That continuity is rare and it shows. As always, a special thank you to my friends Mena, Mousafa, Nashanti, Yousef and Tadros and to the very kind Mr Kannan — you all make my stay what it is. Perfect! I will continue to return to this lovely hotel, where the rooms, food and service are excellent. It truly is a special place. Already looking forward to my next visit.

We stayed for 10 days in the hotel and were very satisfied. The hotel is clean, the food in the main restaurant is very tasty. We liked the beautiful sandy beach best. You can swim there and have a great view. Our waiter at the beach Mohsen Lahzy was super nice and tried very hard. He always had a German saying on his lips. We will definitely come back again ☺️

Hanno saputo gestire ogni nostra richiesta con professionalità, anche quando — complice lo stress lavorativo accumulato in Italia — le abbiamo poste con un po’ troppa veemenza. Un grazie sincero anche a Mustafa e a tutto il team kitesurf, sempre attento, sorridente e pronto ad aiutarci in ogni momento. A presto!

Excellent Stay with Outstanding Service ​We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the experience. ​Service: The overall service throughout the entire resort was of a very high standard. Well where do I start?....... I have been to this hotel and resort 7/8/9 times and it really is like my second home. The location , staff , food ...... its fantastic, you are treated like royalty as soon as you step through the door and luckily I have travelled far and wide around the globe and this Hotel is up there with the best. Keep doing what you do best and thank you yet again for a wonderful stay .

This was our 2nd stay in Palm Royale and it will certainly not be the last. Everything was absolutely perfect! Already at the airport we were greeted and taken to the hotel. At reception we were warmly welcomed and offered a room upgrade, which was a nice gesture. Entertainment team was great, both for kids and adults, rooms were spotless, beach was super clean, the food was simply amazing with a lot of variety! The service was exceptional, we were always greeted with a smile. We will definitely be back and we can only recommend this place.

Warm welkome, good location, very good atmosphere, exelent room, clean sandy sea, good variety of food, very frendly staff. Staff was handle any ask friendly and patient. The staff is numerous, well organized and very disciplined. We got a higher-class room than the one we paid for. The bathroom was very comfortable but we had a few problems with the shower. During the day we used quiet areas without noise. During the evening it was usually noisy during music programs and shows for children which ended by 11 pm.
