Palm Royale Resort - Soma Bay

It was a very nice holiday in Hotel Palm Royale, everything was perfect. Top food, top pools and resort. A special thanks goes to the tennis coach, Ayman, who a very warm and friendly guy and for sure the best tennis coach in Soma Bay! :-)

Красивый пляж, комфортный номер, очень отзывчивый, дружелюбный персонал на ресепшене, нас заселили сразу, классные ребята официанты и бармены на баре, вкусная, разнообразная еда.

В столовой обслуживают выборочно, есть предпочтения гостям, отношение не ко всем гостям одинаковое, нас бывало игнорировали, не подходили, не убирали грязные тарелки, и тд, полный игнор. Алкоголь весь очень дешевый, соки дешевые, фрешов вообще не было, возможно были платные, не знаю, даже пиво было безвкусным, как ненастоящим.

Už jsme tam byli podruhé. Kvalita jídla a jeho rozmanitost je úžasná. Rádi se tam vrátíme.

Spent a great 7 days all inclusive here, the room was spacious ground floor with a large outdoor seating area a few steps from the pool. The food was good with plenty of variety with 4 speciality restaurants as well as the main dining area, the pools were clean and warm, it had a good gym , sauna, steam room and jacuzzi , it has a great evening bar with outside entertainment area and the inside entertainment hall had great shows, nice beach area too, the real cream it to the hotel is the staff , everyone so friendly and nice

Had our 3rd visit here in February. It certainly is a place like no other...beautiful beyond compare. There are too many positives to list. The hotel and grounds are vast and stunning, the sea is clear and blue, the food was always ok but this year there has been a marked improvement (delicious), the a la carte restaurants are excellent from the food to the service (Asian, Italian,Lebanese and greek) the staff are all very nice and look after you well, The animation team were simply the best not noisy or pushy. This is a peaceful resort with plenty of space so you will always be able to relax. We come in February to avoid the crowds and because it is a little cooler.

La pulizia e la cura, oltre alla gentilezza del personale. Il mare è a due passi sia per il bagno sia per il windsurf e altri sport acquatici. Ci sono anche campi da tennis e da padel e la possibilità di organizzare escursioni

I have just returned from a most wonderful week at the Palm Royale. From the first moment, all the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautiful, as was the pool and the beach. The restaurant was first class, the range of the buffet indescribably delicious and the service of the friendly waiters second to none. It was also good to be able to eat at the other on site experience restaurants on other evenings during the week and the girl who organised this for us was really helpful as we were a party of 12. The social team also looked after our family very nicely, from facepainting, the disco and the playground for my grandchildren to the boules games for us. All in all, a perfect week for the entire Hoare family. Thank you to you all.

First of all the one big problem we encountered. I reported the AC not working in the room. The first reply was it doesn't heat it only cools. I replied that I wanted it to cool. The reply to this was "in winter it is only a fan". This suggests to me the AC is turned off. It might be winter in Egypt but 25/26 degrees in the bedroom is not conductive to a good night's sleep for northern Europeans. I have seen similar comments in previous reviews. Now for the good stuff Hotel infrastructure first class not a penny has been spared in construction, decoration, or furnishings. The food in the buffet restaurant and 3 of the 4 a la carte is excellent. The Greek menu could do with some tweaks. Maybe add Kleftico and Stifado for a true Greek taste. All the a la carte restaurant buildings are absolutely fabulous. All the staff are second to none professional, polite, and attentive. The grounds and the beach are first class and kept immaculately. Mr Egypt and Abo at the aqua centre have a range of outings on offer. We did the snorkeling and dolphin trip, highly recommended. All in all this is a great hotel, sort the AC out and it could be nearly perfect 👌

This hotel is the BEST I’ve stayed at, luxury at its highest. The staff can’t do enough for you and they are ALL so polite and friendly. The buffet choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner is unbelievable and so much to choose from. The on site restaurants are really good too: Lebanese, Asian, Italian and Greek. I went on a quad bike safari to the mountains with three young instructors who were brilliant and very safe. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and it’s only 30 minutes from Hurgurda airport. They provide a private transfer at an excellent rate too. I will definitely go back. Their winter is February which is plenty hot enough and try not to fall in love with Casanova the camel 🐪, I did 🤣💙. Thank you to all the staff and especially Mr George Alfred, the staff in the VIP breakfast suite, the Spa staff and Ahmed for the quad bike safari ❤️
