Dreams Playa Bonita Panama - All Inclusive

Stay away from this place at all cost. You can never get reservation on the phone. The people at the front desk, has access to nothing. They dont write notes in your reservation profile. The staff only knows English when it benefits them. Its like a prison. You have to pay a taxi $35 every time you want to go off the property. They do not have an airport shuttle pick up services you have to schedule something with a 3rd party. That cost $25 each person. It was 12 of use traveling to celebrate my 40th bday. I did not know about the 3rd party until i called 1 day before my arrival. They knew i was having a make up artist do my make up 14 days before my arrival. When the MUA arrived, they told me I had to $100 for her to be a guest on the property. This place turned my 40th bday into the worst bday celebration if my life and they stole money from the group of friends. Oh yeah and they recycle food. If the food from the buffet restaurant doesn't finish we found ourselves eating the same bread, rice, or meat at the seafood restaurant that was at the buffet the next day.

The staff were great if you tipped them every time, otherwise there was not above and beyond service. Outside of breakfast and the market cafe, the food was mediocre at best. Most nights we ordered room service, but that was not stellar either. If you want better food, be prepared to Uber (about $20 one way). It was very easy to get transportation to and from the hotel. The resort was as expected being in a jungle, the room had an odor, but again in a jungle with high humidity. The room was clean and anytime we asked for something the staff obliged. Overall, we had a great time, but we spent most of our time on tours away from the resort. I read reviews before we went so I had an idea of what we would experience. It really is a beautiful location. We did not get in the water on the beach (lots of trash) but took several walks and explored at low tide. There were lizards and racoons and bugs, but again you are in the jungle. We only used the tour company on site once. The rest of the time we booked our own tours through TripAdvisor or another company. If I came back to Panama and stayed in the same area, I would probably stay in another hotel, casco viejo probably, for proximity to better food and activities outside of the resort.

Juan Pablo remember that I love tuna tartar so he made sure I was aware they had it in the kitchen but they didn't have it on the menu at the time. Daniela was always so kind and friendly and remembered our drink order so we always had that luxury experience of a drink in our hand either by or in the pool Melissa was great at Coco Cafe. I just loved interacting with her and she made very informed suggestions of what I should eat and drink and told me some of her favorite places to go in the city. housekeeping always kept our room clean promptly everyday And last but not least to the entertainment team led by abdiel Castillo. Professional, enthusiastic and creative. They all put a smile on our faces every time there was an activity and are truly the spice and spirit of the resort!

the ocean was visable from the room as long as you dont get room 301. there is a big tree in front of the balcony and you cant see anything.

Hyatt Dreams Playa Bonita Panama We arrived on Friday, September 19, 2025, and stayed until September 26. After a lengthy 10-hour flight, we waited in line for 45 minutes to check in. I informed the young lady at the desk that we had booked an Ocean Front Room. After completing all the necessary paperwork and receiving our room key for room 301, we entered the room only to find a massive tree obstructing our entire view of the ocean. A video is attached for reference. We promptly returned downstairs, only to be informed that we needed to queue again to change rooms. I asked my husband to get in line while I attempted to get the young lady's attention before rejoining the line, showing her a picture of the room she had assigned to us. Suddenly, she claimed not to understand English. After another 20-minute wait, we finally reached the check-in desk again, only to be told that they could not reassign us to another room until 6 PM. It was only 3 PM, and we were exhausted, simply wanting to relax. At 5:45 PM, we returned to the front desk, where the gentleman present was unaware of our situation and mentioned that room 401 was available and could be assigned to us. From his remarks, it was clear that room 401 had been available long before 5:45 PM and could have been assigned to us earlier. Finally, after settling into our room and preparing to enjoy the pool, we had to wait for maintenance because our safe was not functioning. After entering our room, it took an astonishing five hours to receive towels and washcloths. After waiting an additional 20 minutes, we decided to give up, went to grab something to eat, and then went to bed. This was how our first three hours at the resort began. I advise against taking room 301, as there is a large tree obstructing the view. On a positive note, the resort itself is beautiful. However, customer service and room service deserve only two stars. ⭐️ ⭐️ Certain areas of the resort could benefit from revitalization. Additionally, there is no food or cocktail service available on the beaches or pool areas, unlike other resorts, which means you must keep getting up if you wish to relax. Regarding the adult pool, if you are not a member, consider offering a fee option. This could include a daily fee or a pass. Alternatively, you might choose to waive the fee entirely and restrict access to adults only. This approach seems illogical. The adult pool had merely four individuals present, while the other pool was overcrowded. In my opinion, this represents a missed opportunity for revenue and lacks rationale. For the all-inclusive package, we experienced a lack of drink service in our room for three consecutive days, despite not having the tag on our door. Consequently, there was no justification for the absence of beverage service in our room. If you are solely in search of a resort with a stunning ocean view and are indifferent to other amenities, this may be the ideal resort for you. However, after visiting other all-inclusive resorts, I would rate this one as a three-star establishment at best. Additionally, please keep in mind that this resort accommodates children.

First night and enjoying the people, place and food/drink. My king room is very nice with a great view! All the staff have beenn helpful and friendly!

Great fun and great food. I would recommend this resort for solo travelers. Anjimara and Juan Pablo were my favorite servers at Oceana restaurant

I was looking for a relaxing get away with a wonderful beach. Beach is not for relaxation due to boats transporting. Food was not seasoned, and the temperature was not warm or even hot. No bartenders for swim up pool and the pool area had mice droppings on the bar. Very little entertainment and the majority is Spanish speaking. I was disappointed.
