Dreams Playa Bonita Panama - All Inclusive

Very clean and comfortable. All staff was very friendly especially Eric! We enjoyed a lot of delicious food at all of the restaurants.

I received excellent massage from Luz. The hotel employees were very attentive.. The food , accommodation and care was really good.

Excellent and friendly service administered by the staff especially Mr Orlando and his team. It was a 5 star experience.

Dreams Playa Bonita Panama was a great getaway. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was well flavored and the property clean and well maintained. My room had a great view of the pool area and ocean and I spent many quiet moments relaxing on my balcony overlooking the property. The resort is close enough to town that a taxi ride, Uber or tour can be done yet far enough that I felt away from the touristy area. It offers a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The resort is quaint and not oversized like some other all inclusives. The lobby/restaurant decor should be refurbished or modernized. But that didn’t take away from the charm of the resort. The conference room was turned into a disco which made it difficult to dance due to the carpet snagging on my shoes. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would go back again!

We stayed at Dreams Playa Bonita from September 22–28, 2025 for our wedding celebration. Even though we had multiple reservations, the front desk kindly kept us in the same room for the entire stay — a wonderful first impression that made planning and hosting guests much easier. 🌟 Overall stay The resort itself is stunning, with lush grounds, relaxing pools, and a peaceful atmosphere. The food and drinks were enjoyable, the amenities well-maintained, and the staff truly warm and welcoming. Everyone greeted us with smiles and was always willing to help. A special mention to the bellmen Cesar and Oscar, who saved the day when we suddenly needed last-minute transportation for 50 guests — they quickly found three vehicles through the hotel’s vendor and made the impossible happen. Or even helping us with all of our wedding haul, which took all of the bellcarts they had LOL. 💛 Wedding planning — a big highlight I cannot say enough good things about our resort wedding coordinator, Nohelia. We initially started with a different coordinator who left during the process, which was unsettling at first. But Nohelia stepped in seamlessly — she quickly learned our file, understood our vision, and never missed a beat. She was: * Calm and reassuring — her peaceful presence made me feel everything would work out even when stress ran high. * Flexible and accommodating — she adapted to planning calls and meetings while I was living in the U.S. and made time whenever I visited Panama. * Resourceful — whenever we wanted to customize or add personal touches, she worked with the resort’s systems and vendors to make it happen. * Hands-on the wedding day — she was fully present, ensuring vendors were coordinated, the schedule stayed on track, and small details didn’t get lost. Her professionalism and kindness were truly one of the best parts of choosing Dreams as a wedding venue. She turned what could have been a stressful destination wedding into a beautiful, smooth, and heartfelt day. You'll be in good hands with her. 🐾 Pet-friendly — but not really One of the reasons we chose Dreams was that it’s advertised as pet-friendly, but in reality, our dog wasn’t allowed in most resort spaces. He had to stay in the room or with someone watching him, which limited our time with both him and our guests. If bringing a pet is important to you, ask for clear rules in writing ahead of time. ⚠️ Things to know before booking a wedding here - Even after booking multiple rooms and staying nearly a week, we didn’t feel recognized as the wedding couple — no room upgrade, no extra effort to make us feel special. This was our top disappointment. - The resort is not truly pet-friendly despite what we were initially told. But, they were kind enough to not charge us for 7 out of the 8 nights we had our fur-baby with us. - Very strict timing policies — no option to extend the reception, even if you’re willing to pay. - Wedding package “special touches” felt minimal (for example, the “fruit basket” was just three apples). - There were extra charges we didn’t know about at contracting. - Small but important requests (like champagne for the bridal room [no suite offered/available]) were difficult to fulfill until someone went to the bar in person. ✍️ Final thoughts I look back on our wedding and I’m grateful and blessed — it was beautiful, the resort is stunning, and our guests had a wonderful time. The staff’s kindness and Nohelia’s support were truly the highlights. But I wish I had known about the strict rules, hidden fees, and limited flexibility before choosing Dreams as a wedding venue. Dreams Playa Bonita is a beautiful resort with genuinely kind, service-oriented staff, and the wedding planning experience with Nohelia was wonderful — she’s the reason our day turned out so beautiful. However, if you’re looking for a wedding venue that offers flexibility, transparency on costs, and those little “extra special” touches, be aware of the resort’s strict policies and hidden charges. If I could rate Nohelia and the staff separately, they’d get 5 stars. The resort’s wedding policies and communication would get 3. Overall, our guests had an amazing time and the wedding day was beautiful, but some of the behind-the-scenes resort rules made planning more stressful than it needed to be.

Beautiful resort! We loved our stay. Rooms had a funky smell but overall amazing drinks and very tasty food for an all inclusive. Prbly our first we loved and enjoyed!

Very good atmosphere, great activities, we had a lot of fun! Service and guest care 10 out of 10 A little difficult to get in the specialty restaurants but buffets were good.
