Candlewood Suites Corpus Christi-SPID, an IHG Hotel

They screwed up our reservation. I spent the better part of the week on the phone with hotel management. The worst experience I've had in the 25 years that I've been traveling for work.

Needs some upgrades

The employee that checked me in charged me twice the $75 deposit fee. The entrance door was squeaky, the toiled bowl was black around the rim, the refrigerator was loud, the bathtub needs to have caulking around it was rusty. Horrible

I don't like this property because of the fact that I paid for two nights and they made me and my child leave in the morning because on there and they didn't have the ticket number

I liked the location, and for the most part pretty quiet

The floors were pretty sticky and the carpets were a bit rough, but I feel like that’s normal from wear and tear of a building

I love this place I come almost every two weeks to unwind.

Hotel was under construction the front desk representative said it washotel.com responsibilities to let us know that hotel under construction. So then we could make our decision to stay. The elevator out of service but we were still booked on second floor…. I told her my husband’s a senior citizen we cannot go upstairs. She said it was the only available room because we booked through hotels.com. So my husband & I walked up to second floor then we found our the keys didn’t work. The door doesn’t work. The heater doesn’t work.etc……

Outstanding service! New management is making tons of changes and upgrades! Definitely my go to when in CC. Close to everything I need to get to without dealing with traffic. Clean and they now have fresh baked cookies!! My new perk when checking in.
