"Old property with questionable cleaning "

Property is dated. Room had not been properly cleaned. Some kind of black sticky dirt on floor in kitchen area. Smell of previous cooking. TV old. No way to stream video. Toilet made loud noise when filling tank after flush. Room attendant could not have missed this problem when cleaning bathroom suggesting bathroom toilet may not have been cleaned. Would not stay here again. Much better options nearby.

"Great hotel "

This hotel was nicer than I had expected. Room was extremely clean and had a small kitchenette which i had not expected. Would definitely recommend staying here if staying in the vicinity. It is walking distance to Waffle House, Panda Express, McDonald's, Shoney's, Burger King, Taco Bell, & Wal-Mart.

"Such a disappointment"

The absolute worst checkin experience EVER! Cara checked us in and she was beyond incompetent. Our check in process took well over 30 minutes. The entire lobby was filled with people waiting to check in. You couldn’t hear her. She refused to speak up, or even hustle. When we got to our floor, the whole floors smelled liked Marijuana. Note: we had a 2 year old and 4 year old. Finally, all of the dishes were in the dishwasher in our room. Awful service. Awful experience. Do not recommend.

"Excellent"

The Candlewood was in a very convenient location. The check in was easy. We felt that the room was a little pricey for the small bed and limited amenities. It also was a hotel that allowed pet and smelled like dogs in the lobby.

Full size beds were too soft. Not able to access both sides of beds because they were jammed up against opposite sides of the room walls to make room for the middle side table. Small old tv that should have been updated years ago. However; the showers pressure was wonderful and invigorating.

"Great room- not so good on service..."

The room and hotel was fine. But on the morning of check out, which is 11am, the cleaning staff knocked on the door at 8am to ask "if we would be checking out"? They came 2 more times between 830am-10am. After a complaint to the front desk and request for compensation for the rude disruptions-The manage never returned my call.

"room was not sound proof"

the room was not sound proof ,we heard people coughing in the next room. tv playing after midnight , steps in the floor above us ,very annoying noises that made sleeping difficult
