Staybridge Suites Fairfield Napa Valley Area by IHG

Great hotel in Fairfield. We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath unit that was very comfortable. The free breakfast included wonderful fresh fruit (which is frequently lacking in hotels that include breakfast). We will definitely stay here again

A few things that we did have trouble with television remote was not working in both the living area and king size bedroom. The bath tub did not work to take baths for the kids, floor board fell down and our key card kept not working. Security was not great my niece and her children were approached by a male when she went to the room and he kept trying to talk with her. She did not report it after that we had no other issues. Staff was really nice and would quickly attend to key not working and the other issues that arise. I would consider to go back the kids had a great time at the pool.

The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in in my life. Very cozy rooms. I stayed in there two bedroom suite with a kitchen and it was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Long wait to get checked in and to answer phone once checked in room. Guess short staffe. But it happens

When i arrived i let the young man know i was had a reservation for one night and provided him with my ID and credit card. We spoke about the breakfast, local restaurants, etc and never mentioned not finding my reservation or even discussed a nightly rate. I wasnt until he asked that i enter my card into the machine that i noticed he had charged me for the room in addition to a "deposit". When i questioned the charge he asked the manager to come and correct the credit card charge. I asked for a copy of the charge and credit and was told i could get a copy in the morning once the charges posted overnight, i wasnt pleased but at that point there wasnt anything i could do. When we checked out i made a point to ask for a copy of the statement and it was blank when i questioned it i was told there was nothing posted because i prepaid with Hotels.com when i asked about the error the night before and the fact i was only showing a pending charge on my card and no pending credit and she said "well i dont know what to tell you, i cant give you anything" the level of service was just awful

I recommend this hotel

The pool is very old and small. While we were there, a large number of little kids were in the pool Unattended. The children’s ages were between approximately 3-12. The kids were being very disrespectful. Front desk essentially did nothing. The parents were asked to supervise the children, but this was not enforced and again the young kids were left unattended. My kids were unable to use the pool because of the unsupervised children that were disrespectful. Additionally, housekeeping was not available. A request was made for Additional details via text. I responded to the text I received at time of check in; however, staff were nonresponsive. I finally had to go down to the front desk to request more towels. Our experience was poor. I will not stay at this hotel again despite the convenience. Very disappointed.
