Elizabeth Pointe Lodge

This was our home base for a long weekend in Amelia Island and we loved it. The staff was very kind and attentive. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast and afternoon happy hour enjoying our wine on the porch overlooking the ocean. We used taxis to take us to the town of Fernandina Beach and they were very convenient. We walked a few times, as well. We booked an oceanfront room and it was basic, nice and well-appointed. They offer beach chairs, towels, etc but Mother Nature was not cooperating for us that weekend. We were on the fourth floor by the elevator and found our room to be quiet from hallway noise but that probably depends on the other guests on the floor. We would definitely recommend this property.

Ahhh-mazing experience from check-in to check-out. We came to celebrate our 20th anniversary and were blown away. We arrived to a bottle of champagne and a lovely note from the staff. Our room was beautiful and clean with amazing views of the ocean. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was so kind. The beach had chairs setup for guests and the beach wasn’t crowded at all. Even for June! We will be back!

Some of the rooms tend to be small, not a lot of counter space. The hefty amenity fee per day means you’re not really getting complementary beer, wine, snacks, water bottles, and breakfast. I don’t remember that fee always being a part of the total stay.

Squeezed a few days in Amelia Island (first time) between Savannah and St Augustine. Came across this gem while doing some research and we were so happy we found each other. Clean rooms and facilities. Old school with a real key on a real key chain. Room 301! You are less than 100 steps from the clean sand! They provide towels, chairs and umbrellas. There is a reception hour from 4-5 p.m. to have a cool drink and some small bites. Breakfast is complimentary and I am not talking about grab your own from a table at a big chain. There’s a legit menu to order from! I got up early one morning with a free cup of coffee and cookie to watch the sun rise. So tranquil. The staff couldn’t be nicer. While we checked out at 11 am they had no problem with us hanging in their beach area for a few more hours. If you are looking for a place on Fernandina please look no farther!

Excellent breakfast services

This is a beautiful location directly on the beaches on Fernandina Beach with easy access to the cute town. We celebrated a family birthday which included 18 family members. The lodge and ancillary accommodations housed all of us well. The breakfasts are exceptional and the staff is delightful. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that maintenance on the ancillary buildings could use some tending to. Otherwise, our stay was a 5 star experience.

The Elizabeth Pointe Lodge is a lovely place to stay while on Amelia Island. It is strategically located, just far enough away from the center of town. Accommodations are beautiful, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, very clean and updated bathrooms. Staff is very kind and courteous ~ offering lots of great recommendations and suggestions. The lobby is immaculate , they have not forgotten one detail from the fresh fruit, cool refreshing water, to the cookies, and coffee bar. They even offer an extensive book selection. Breakfast is out of this world, with no limits to how much you can order. They even offer "mini" selections of featured foods. They have a wonderful 4-5 reception for guest with water, beer, soda, and wine along with light bites. There is a beautiful wrap around porch with a lovely view of the beach or even front of building! It was such a relaxing vacation and a definite place to revisit!

Great experience at Elizabeth Pointe! We enjoyed the beautiful ocean views, wonderful staff, delicious breakfast in the morning and lazy days on the beach steps from the lodge.
