Elizabeth Pointe Lodge

We booked 5 nights at Elizabeth Pointe Lodge, as our home base for our annual year end retreat. The fourth floor oceanfront view was exactly what we wanted. The sound of the surf and sunrises are favorite things. The daily breakfast met our needs and we appreciated being able to pick a seating time as well as the personal service. The front desk people were very accomodating with ice, water bottles, and fresh cookies. The early morning HOT self serve coffee station was much appreciated. We took advantage of the 4pm happy hour everyday! And, we appreciated the easy and free parking situation - as compared to valet parking at other places we have stayed.

Very disappointing. Had been our go to place to stay on Amelia Island for years. But in decline-scratched up floors in our room, decks in disrepair. Incredibly uncomfortable bed with springs(!) that squeak. Paid over $300/night. Won’t be back-unfortunately.

I love the Elizabeth Pointe Lodge. It is my second time staying at the hotel and I'm very impressed. First of all, it's a perfect location. It's not only on the beach but it's just minutes to great shopping and dining. Efficient and friendly staff. I look forward to my next visit to Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach and the Elizabeth Pointe Lodge.

The charm and atmosphere are wonderful! This is our third stay over 3 decades! They have completed remodeling and it looks great keeping the southern historic look. The hostess up front , servers at the delicious breakfast were all on point! The view can not be beat. We will return.

Bit overpriced.

All the paperwork from the hotel mentioned a gourmet breakfast. This was not available as the kitchen was being re-furbished. I was offered "pastries" (my local supermarket has a better and nicer choice) or a voucher at a local restaurant, but I would have to drive to the local restaurant. I reqested a refund for the "gourmet breakfast" I did not receive, but was told that the hotel could not give me a refund as I had booked through Booking.com. This will make me think twice about using Booking.com in future. I sent an email to Booking.com requesting a refund but did not receive a reply There was no safe in my room

This was our first time to visit Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach. Everything about our stay was perfect from start to finish. We loved staying at the Breezes Suite with it's lovely garden view and quick access to the beach with chairs and umbrellas already set up. The staff was wonderful and took care of our every need, especially Jeff, Lana and Michelle. Breakfast each morning was a treat and Happy Hour was a great time to enjoy a view of the ocean with delicious horderves and drinks. Downtown was an absolute delight with nice stores and restaurants. We visited Fort Clinch (a civil war era brick fort) and looked for fossilized sharks teeth along the nearby beach. Amelia Island Lighthouse was closed, but we got some nice photos getting as close as we could. Elizabeth Pointe gets our top rating and we can't wait to come back in 2026!

Wunderschönes kleines Hotel, gute Atmosphäre, stilvoll eingerichtet, phantastische Sicht aufs Meer. Alles hat hohe Qualität, super freundliche Mitarbeiter, Frühstück top. Liegen und Sonnenschirme am Strand, Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Gut Schallisoliert!

Nichts

Not the same as last time. Whole place not nearly as well cared for as on our last visit. Our Ocean House Tradewinds suite is still incredible but the building is not well cared for . Paint peeling everywhere..embarrassing! Main Breakfast Kitchen under renovation and they didn’t let us know. Wonderful pastries and a voucher instead, but they should have let us know!

Enjoyed a king waterfront room with a wonderful view in October 2025. The Lodge was exceptionally clean and the staff was great. All members of the staff were courteous and attended to all of our needs. We will be sure to book another visit on our next trip to Amelia Island.
