Location on the beach, breakfast and happy hour were super.

Only drawback was the elevator was not working.

This is a beautiful hotel that feels more like a bed and breakfast. It was built in 1997 but has the feel of a 1920’s inn with beautiful wood floors & tall ceilings. It was just updated last fall and the rooms are light and airy with large windows with plantation style shutters and the beds are comfortable. It has a nice sized shower. There is a small refrigerator in the room. There is not a closet, but there is a hanging rack with hangers. The cost was not cheap but it does include a delicious hot breakfast each morning (our server each morning was Ally) and she was EXCELLENT!) beach towels, chairs and an umbrella, bottled water, fresh fruit and cookies/brownies. The covered veranda that looks out at the ocean has rocking chairs, tables and chairs. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location is close to restaurants and the historic downtown area. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great service and beautiful accommodations

Great service. Includes made to order breakfast and Happy Hour with wine, beer and nice nibbles. Outdoor deck overlooking the dunes and ocean is a great gathering spot. Our room needed a desk or table for a computer. There was plenty of room for a table of desk. WifFi worked OK, Elevator was down, causing us to climb 4 floors.

The Lodge and staff were great. All the rooms were updated and bathrooms redone. B-fast was off a menu and not buffet. Friendly service, perfect beach location.

Very disappointed in this place. Definitely not worth the price. Carefully curated art? One piece above the bed and the rest of the walls are blank and almost stark white. Bed is a bit old and not very comfortable. Chef’s gourmet breakfast? Days Inn is better. If there is a cook, that person was not visible. Elevator has apparently not been working for months. VIP gift of a bottle of sparking wine? A split of cheap champagne. Hors d’oeurves in the afternoon? Cheese cubes and crackers each day. I’ve stayed here years ago twice. Not the same place at all. Don’t waste your money.

Asked ChatGPT for a hotel recommendation in Fernandina Beach and it came back with Elizabeth Pointe as the number one suggestion. After doing a little homework, we l decided to give it a try and could not have been happier. The place is first class all the way. The staff is totally focused on giving you a great experience (thank you Tina, Ally and Jeff!). The hotel is beautiful and the rooms in the main house were recently renovated. The hotel has direct access to the beach and they provide chairs and umbrellas for guests. Another great surprise was the included breakfast. It is made to order and delicious, no need to venture out to find better pancakes and bacon. The daily happy hour at 4PM was also awesome. The rates are a little high, but you get value for price. We will certainly come back.
