The Pitlochry Hydro Hotel

Fantastic stay. Nice welcome from.reception staff. Room was fantastic, Superior double scenic view could not fault it. Dinner in hotel was really good, 3 course set menu. Leisure facilities was clean and tidy and perfect to relax in. My dogs were made most welcome. Grounds perfect for a wee wander with them. Breakfast was buffet style and had great choice of continental and freshly cooked. Overall our stay was very good with all staff being extremely helpful. We will be back.

The hotel is very nice. Room was spacious, we had the standard twin beds room. The best part was the private parking!! The breakfast was good. Has a nice bar and lounge area. It has a pool but we didn’t use it.

Not dog friendly, too loud and old fashioned.

Uncomfortable bed, lying on my side hurt due to how hard the bed was. We had a massive room and a tiny double bed. Hotel is dated. Around 2.30am there was music reverberating through the room, my husband went downstairs to find two large speakers plugged into an iPhone blaring our music, which he unplugged, but there was no one around. Shower was very hot and hard to find a balance between scolding and freezing. As we went to check out, another client was having an argument at reception, as we had to get going for our onward journey, we left the key without saying anything about the lack of sleep all night.

A nice building

Very nice hotel but very dated. But then again most hotels in the UK are in older buildings so the interior being dated is very common. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean; I was satisfied. Nice sitting area out front. Nice bar and restaurant area.

Staff good meals good reception and bar areas good restaurant area good but when you go upstairs to the rooms you see the difference rooms need upgraded our room was an upgraded room but not impressed rooms nothing like you seein there brouchers

One night stay for business. Nice looking hotel from the outside , poorly sign posted . Interior and bedrooms looking dated and shabby in places.

It was a nice place for the money.
