Hidden Valley Resort, an Ascend Collection Resort

Even though the resort is under renovation, our stay was great. Bed super comfy. The staff were so welcoming and helpful and very friendly. Smiles all around. Fantastic view of the lake. Buffet breakfast was delicious with good variety. The grounds are well kept.

Front desk staff was too good especially a guy on the name of Lawrence was unbelievably good. Staff attitude in the restaurant was terrible. Better restaurant better service needed there.

Lovely hotel but staff did not control the noise volumes of other guests after 10pm as posted at the front desk. Multiple parties woke us up throughout the night with yelling, fighting, loud music ect.

Rock hard mattress, very restless sleep for those just wanting a relaxing get away. Cannot use the tubs in the room despite them being deep soaker tubs. No plugs for the bath tub. Toilet barely flushed because of what maintenance said was a slow fill tank. Took over 20 minutes for the tank to fill on the toilet. Pool deck was covered with huge water puddles and very dirty. Excessive charges for pool towels that aren’t returned. All in all I won’t be back.

Very bad experience!

The staff, Charlene & Richard, were excellent with customer service. Both answered all my questions politely. The pool and hot tub were disappointing. It was clear the facilities need upgrading and the hot tub had green algae (?) on the outer side of the tub. The wall paper/paint was bubbled. The room was clean, but again there was signs of neglect and/or need of painting/wallpapering.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Location was great. We will be back for another anniversary

It was so nice and quiet. Just what we needed. Thanks so much to the wonderful staff. And the location was perfect.
