Oxford Suites Silverdale

Very nice and welcoming staff. Stayed here many times. The included breakfast and drink keeps coming back here. This time they had someone in the parking and entry area with leaf blower Saturday am starting between 7and 8. That woke us up early after a late night. Didn’t care for that. Minor complaint… the elevator is excruciatingly slow, which becomes problematic during busy morning hours. Overall, a good place to stay when in silverdale area.

The Oxnard Suites Silverdale is a first-class hotel. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I have stayed at the Oxnard Suites many times and have never been disappointed. The one thing I do not like about the motel is the parking lot. The parking lot is too small for the amount of people that stay at this motel.

Lovely room with a view of the bay. We brought our dog. The room has a back door with grass - looking out at the bay. Suite had a kitchen, lovely bath, fireplace. Hot tub was relaxing! The evening reception was very nice with complimentary wine. We were surprised at the quality of the breakfast eggs, potatoes and coffee and other food. It was wonderful.

I have been staying at Oxford Suites since 2009, and they treat me like family. The GM, Steve, is an awesome guy who is very friendly and accommodating. Same for the sales manager, Jamie, she’s great. They offer a breakfast buffet every day, and mixes it up so it’s not the same thing day after day. Ruby and Shannon work the breakfast buffet and they are awesome. Whenever I visit PSNSY in Bremertnon, this is my preferred home away from home .

My friend said this was the nicest hotel in the area. It was decent, had a free drink at the bar which had a nice fireplace. Also a good complimentary breakfast. I liked that they had a little convenience store open 24/7. The coffee offered in the room was a tea bag type and it was absolutely terrible. Also it would have been nice to have bathrobes in the room. Overall a good place to stay. Just could have the nicer things in the room I mentioned above.

Front desk staff were especially friendly and went the extra mile looking up the ferry schedule and providing a hard copy. The breakfast was real food and kitchen staff made sure we could find everything including the complimentary soup upon our arrival. The establishment is especially dog friendly.

First thing I noticed was a huge amount of dust at the sunken computer screen. Then, at the room the USB’s on the lamp didn’t work. Then when I mentioned that I almost cancelled my reservation due to the first impression with all the dust, two people shrugged their shoulders and basically said excuses and blew me off. It was otherwise really pleasant staff, and the experience was good. There’s a bit of construction at the pool area and the sauna was weirdly cool instead of heated. The pool steps as you enter the pool were discolored- wondered if it was due to not being cleaned in a long time. Then, when I went to get out of my car tge maintenance person apparently took the top off of the hole in the ground where there’s a water shut off. It was rainy and dark, and I almost stepped right in it! There was a bit of litter outside- does the cleaning staff wander the parking area to remove litter? The areas under construction are big windows that pi walked past viewers can see untidy areas before entering the lobby. Why aren’t they temporarily covering up the interior windows to prevent us from seeing the mess?

It’s a nice, clean hotel with great views of the water. Good amenities such as a restaurant in the hotel with good food. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. The staff are helpful and friendly.
