Food and staff were excellent.

Room was in poor state of decoration.

Food menu very limiting and disapointing

Characterful building with many original features such as exposed wood beams and irregular floors. Very quiet environment and rural location. The staff are very good and attentive. The food and drink offerings are very good.

Some cosmetic decoration will be needed soon. But this needs to balance with the original charm. The dining room chairs were uncomfortable but the lounge was much better to relax in.

Superb Customer Service. All the Staff were incredibly diligent and welcoming. Spotlessly clean room. The Acorn Inn Pub Walk through the Melbury Estate was a highlight.

Mattress too soft for me but that’s a personal preference. Limited menu.

Breakfast in sister hotel was 5*. Dinner was very good and nice ambience in restaurant. Bed and bedding very comfortable and good shower.

We had a view of the car park from a low window so felt a little claustrophobic but was lovely and quiet.

Lovely Inn. Friendly staff.

Noisy. Had to ring reception to get someone to stop what sounded like DIY/ repeated banging near room in the evening.
