Clean, friendly staff (English speaking). A perfectly acceptable one night stop with a good sized free car park on site.

Just what we needed, nothing more. Location is extremely inconvenient but otherwise it was a nice stay.

Had a little trouble checking in - they said my reservation was cancelled (and it was not). But the staff made it right for us. The bed was quite comfortable. Overall, the hotel was fine. It was a good value for the money.

Overall, a clean, tidy and well maintained hotel. It is basic in its comforts and is new in its decor. There is no wifi or Internet connections in the rooms, and the free wifi in reception is awful.

Clean, next to the highway and Ikea, and easy access to downtown. But beware- this is not a good place if you don't have a car. Also no wifi in the rooms- only the lobby.

Despite having no-smoking rooms, the hotel has a large smoking room (essentially a smoking bar) on the ground floor and close to the lifts and stairwell, with the door left open 24 hours a day. Consequently, there was a strong smell of smoke throughout the hotel and smoke was entering our room late at night. The build-quality of the hotel was poor, with the bathrooms being particularly badly installed, such that there was a lot of black mould and a strong smell of damp/mould in the bathroom, probably not helped by the fact that most of the water flooded onto the bathroom floor when having a shower. The shower taps rattled continuously when guests in other rooms were using their showers. The room and bathroom were very small - we had expected a similar standard to a UK Travelodge; however, we were disappointed. On the plus side, the staff spoke very good English and the location was good - only a 5 minute walk from Billwerder-Moorfleet station, which is a c.15 minute train ride to Hamburg Hauptbahnhopf.

Leaves a lot to be desired

I spent one night on my way back to the UK from Denmark at this hotel. It is very close to the motorway but no trafific noices can be heard. The hotel is clean and looks newly refurbished. Although the rooms are on the small side and without airconditioning for a nights sleep before going back on the motorway I would recommend this hotel.
