Trelawney Hotel - Guest House

We loved the fact that we were staying in a quaint Victorian style building.

The only thing that would deter us from staying here, and only in the hot summer months, would be that there is no air conditioning. However, it's very clear in the summary of facilities and there are fans available.

We can definitely recommend The Trelawney Hotel. The location was exactly where we wanted, close to beach, 15 minutes walk to marina. Bus stops right outside. The guest house was spotless, hosts Paul and Liz were lovely. Breakfast set you up for the day. Room was impressive. We will definitely be going back.

Location friendly owner and very clean must be the cleanest Hotel we have ever stayed at.

Room was hot but there was a desk fan and a mini fridge on request which helped keeping my insulin cool during the exceptionally hot weather.

Clean, tidy , bright and welcoming

Lots of stairs if in the top floor .. but that is the old building .. worth the climb for the view ..

Liz and Paul were lovely hosts, knowledgeable about the area and very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and spotlessly clean, on the second floor with a sea view. I had scrambled eggs for breakfast and they were perfect. Definitely be my first choice of place to stay next time I visit Torquay.

Close to the harbour, also you can catch the Torquay land train just outside. For anyone who wants to ride it. Lovely seated area out the front.

Clean, comfortable, great breakfast, well located. Friendly and responsive hoist.
