Trelawney Hotel - Guest House

The rooms we had were impeccable. Cleanliness is of the highest standard. Breakfast was very good, and we could change the cooked element daily if need be. Highly recommend.

Very neat and clean. We were at the back of the hotel which was lovely and quiet. Bedroom was compact but had everything we needed. We really liked the cosy front lounge and honesty bar. Front “kerb appeal” to the property was exceptional. Great location for local amenities and only a short walk to the promenade.

Lack of on site parking but that wasn’t really a problem as there were plenty of side streets near by.

Excellent breakfast choice & quality. Exceptionally clean rooms with everything you need. Paul & Liz are warm, friendly, attentive & always around if you need anything. The best B&B we’ve stayed at.

It was ok. Breakfast pleasant except the smell of cigarettes on staff

Stank of smoke in entrance hall and corridors despite no smoking signs. Staff obviously heavy smokers as they too smelt strongly of cigarette smoke It was the only thing that spoilt our stay. friendly and welcoming staff

A really lovely independent hotel, beautiful exterior with an immaculate frontage, lovely hanging baskets, very inviting. Liz was very welcoming. We arrived early and it was not a problem to check in, get our key then we were free to do what we wanted. The room was small but immaculate, perfect for two of us with a reasonable size en suite, tea and coffee facilities in the room. We would definitely recommend and come back again.

The location was brilliant breakfast was exceptional and the staff were lovely.
