Lovely surroundings clean room

They don't show you the pictures of the actual hotel rooms online! You wouldn't agree to stay if they did! Worst stay and experience ever. If you like the idea of checking into a small closet with no windows that they are passing off as a hotel room then this place is for you! If you want the maid to replenish soap for your room - They will charge you! If you want the maid to replenish the coffee in your room - They will charge you! If you want any daily amenities replenished in your room - They will charge you! Gave this place a 1 only because 0 was not an option. Buyer Beware!! Go anywhere other than this place. Literally booked a room at a hotel down the road during our stay just to escape how bad the rooms were here! You want to sign out a few beach chairs - Plan on being charged for them! No Ice Machine on the premises!! First hotel I have ever stayed at that doesn't have an ice machine. You want ice - look for the small ice tray in your mini fridge to help. When I say small ice tray - I am not kidding. We took pictures of the ice tray and posted it on or social media accounts as a challenge for anyone to claim they have ever seen an ice tray that small. Bring your own normal sized ice tray if you plan on staying here. They are trying to pass this off as a resort so they can charge you a resort fee! It is the farthest thing from a resort - I assure you! And of course there is no escaping the exorbitant resort fee that everyone must pay. The only reason this place is able to stay in business is through false advertisement and being close to a beach in Hawaii. Two dirty grills on the premises! If you plan on grilling bring your own ant spray. Can't stand in front of the grill for longer than 5 seconds before your feet are swarming with red ants!

The staff made me feel very welcome and were professional.

The pool is a nice and quiet area. Love the waterfalls. This is our 2nd visit and we will be back next year. The walk to the beach is short and easy. There are many dining options within walking distance. See you next year.

KAHANA FALLS is a property built in the 70s or 80s.it is every well maintained and even though appliances are older. Everything works. Great value for a great price. I for one will be going back again.

The room was very small and only had one window over the bed that looked into a hallway with a view of the elevator! When we booked online, all the pictures showed large rooms with large windows. We asked multiple times for an upgrade and even offered to pay, but the management would not consider it. They said it was Expedia's problem. We changed hotels at our cost; no refund for the unused days was offered or available. We were misled by the photos Expedia had on its website. If we had known the room was so small and the one window looked into the middle of the building with no chance of letting in light, let alone giving us a view of the sky, we would not have booked this place!

Everything and everyone was great.
