Athlone Springs Hotel

The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We weren’t able to arrive until late but they allowed us to pre-order our food and went out of their way to accommodate us. Bedrooms were very spacious clean and modern. Great leisure facilities and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Fantastic hotel and fantastic staff. Will definitely return.

Athlone Springs Hotel, very pleasant staff on arrival, beautiful room, spotlessly clean. Service and food in the dining room were excellent; the leisure facilities were very good. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

- The hotel itself is in an okay location and check in was easy. There was a wedding on on the day we arrived which was okay until we went to go asleep.. We had our two young kids with us (6 and 11) and they were kept up to about 3am as we were put in a room directly above the function room the wedding was on. The music was thumping through the room and no one could sleep. - Dinner this day was good and service was good as it was quiet. My wifes beef dinner was cold though. - The Sunday dinner was much worse. We originally booked dinner for 5pm and rang down to change this to 6:30 and that was all good and easy to change as we rang early in the day. We sat down at exactly 6:30pm, we did not leave until 8:30pm.. This was with us having a table full of plates and I had to get up and pay the bill as I did not want to wait any longer if I asked. We had to ask for the plates to be cleared after each course and ask for dessert menus. The servers seem to priorities larger tables and clearing tables instead of looking after the diners that were actually there. - Breakfast had a good selection every day and I can't fault breakfast. - I'm very glad I got a voucher for this hotel as I would not be impressed if I had to pay the full price. I would not choose to stay here again.

We had a lovely night stay. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff at the desk, restaurant and leisure centre were friendly and very helpful. There is a large car park with ample parking and the hotel is located within a couple of minutes from the motorway so great location for motorists. Would certainly stay again whenever in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay, the hotel is very clean and the staff was very helpful and polite. The breakfast was lovely. We enjoyed the swimming pool, Jacuzzi and a steam room. We had a very relaxing stay.

We stayed two nights in the hotel. Rooms was spotlessly clean. Staff really friendly! The food in the restaurant, where we ate both nights was fantastic!

Staff very good . Room well maintained. Dinner was very good as was breakfast. Excellent showers very comfortable. Room was quiet.

Fantastic hotel. Warm, professional and attentive staff, spotless accommodation and great food. Lovely ambience throughout, with great attention to detail and impeccable service from start to finish. A perfect base for our two-day conference.

I was travelling for business in the athlone area. Hotel was lovely and staff friendly. Food was also great. Would be happy to recommend for anyone looking for accommodation.

Amazing staff and fab hotel to stay in. Was there for a Conference. The room was set up to very high standard and felt welcoming straight away. My accommodation for the night was wonderful. Very clean room and fab bed for a great nights sleep. Can't thank the staff enough though, from the arrival to the breakfast the next day, they couldn't have been more accommodating. Back in 3 weeks for another event and expect the same professional and welcoming visit as before.
