Athlone Springs Hotel

Staff very friendly and accomodating. Excellent level of service and genuine warmth. Lovely hotel and very central and easy to get to, bed very comfy. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Lovely hot shower. Breakfast and lunch was excellent and we could'nt have asked for better. Overall many thanks to everyone for a lovely stay.

Great food Staff are brilliant and very friendly Rooms are very spacious and the pool and gym are great Very good atmosphere in the restaurant and bar.

Christmas Party Night in the Athlone Springs Hotel was absolutely fantastic. From the minute we walked in the door we were looked after. We were greeted by 2 young men with big smiles who offered us complimentary drinks and were very helpful explaining what the different drinks were . We sat down for dinner , which was beautiful. The beef was melt in your mouth divine and the special recipe ice cream was to die for. There was a few games in between courses. I have to say the star of the show was Darren . He kept everyone entertained and was a super host, i never laughed as much. The interaction with all the people was amazing. The music was brilliant, a great selection to suit all ages. Well done to everyone on the night, including waiters, waitresses, bar staff and management. Great night

Our stay for our family reunion was just lovely, the staff were absolutely fantastic from the reception, bar and the chap that looked after our group on Saturday evening. The hotel oysel is so lovely, with a very warm atmosphere. Child friendly, plenty of parking with an electric charger nearby. Myself and my husband really enjoyed staying here. Thank you for such a memorable few days.

The hotel has a basic feel to it, nothing of note to mention. Shorty after we arrived we noticed a lot of youths loitering around the halls. One aggressively banged on my door and ran away. I complained to reception and they said that the youths come to loiter in the hotel from a nearby housing estate. They said that the staff can't do much because they can't lock the doors. Pity they didn't mention that on their website. Also, the leisure centre was closed when we stayed there because of essential maintenance. This was not made known to us prior to booking. Furthermore, loud drilling work commenced at 6.45 am which woke up our young family. I got the full Irish breakfast which looked and tasted like it was left under a heat lamp for a few hours. Staff were pleasant. I got the feeling that they were trying to do the best with the conditions they had. We won't be staying here again.

The staff were wonderful and the food was great . The hotel was lovely a little dated maybe but the warm atmosphere was amazing.

Lovely hotel, like most four star hotels but what made this one different was the staff. They were lovely, welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was lovely too.

Perfect spot for the family to meet, center of the country of course. Atmosphere was really great, food was gorgeous and the room was really comfortable. Great staff, they were busy but had time to chat. All in all, well done, will recommend to family and friends.

I stayed for the weekend with my Mam & Sister , hotel is lovely ,warm atmosphere, great staff, very helpful, clean rooms, great breakfast and the bar food menu had a wide selection a lot of choice.

From the minute I arrived with my 4 sisters until we checked out 2 days later everything was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would like to mention Chi in particular who was extremely obliging and couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. Would highly recommend Athlone Springs hotel
