Athlone Springs Hotel

Excellent food and extremely helpful staff, great location for visiting the Midlands. I will definitely be returning for another visit.

Amazing staff from checking in to checking out. Any staff member i encountered was friendly and attentive. Rooms were spotlessly clean and a great size with plenty of hanging space.

My friends and I stayed in Athlone Springs on Friday 7th November,2025. All staff were so welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent and the menu had a great variety to choose from. Compliments to all involved. We come to this hotel twice a year, usually April and Oct./November. Each visit is always so good and we look forward to our next trip in April, 2026.

Four sisters 💓 spent a lovely night away here. Friendly staff, clean and the lunch,evening bar food and breakfast were all lovely. The pool is worth a visit also.

We experienced a very short but incredibly sweet stay at Athlone Springs. Our stay was an overnight in a family room which slept 4 comfortably. We had access to the leisure centre which looked great but we didn't have the time to fully experience. The restaurant, bar and function rooms looked to have been buzzing on a Friday night which is great to see as so many places appear to be struggling to attract regular visits. In spite to the dancing and the music we heard none of it from our bedroom which was much appreciated. In the room was a bottle of water, 2 glasses along with a kettle. Tea and coffee for two. Given there were four of us a couple more glasses and cups would have been appreciated. In the morning the breakfast had a great selection of cold and hot food with really helpful staff on hand. We were down for a competition in the Athletic arena in TUS which was less than 10 minutes away in the car.

We had Afternoon Tea at the Athlone Springs today. The food was fabulous, with a great variety. Unfortunately the vegetarian selection was on the same plate as the meat selection, otherwise it would be 5 stars.

All the staff we encountered in the hotel are very friendly and hospitable, and very good with young children. The room and public facilities were clean and well kept. Unfortunately the dinner that evening disappointed us. We shared a pizza but both bases were extremely charred. They immediately rectified the situation, apologized and returned with better ones. Even so, the food was only ok. Cold ham and pineapple toppings on a pizza is not good. We didn't complain again as we were simply hungry. Hopefully the food will improve as all else was very good.

I recently stayed with family members. All of the staff were so warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for you! The rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean! The swimming pool was really clean and great for swimming lengths with the separate slow and fast lanes. The breakfast and food in the restaurant were delicious and so were the cocktails! There is a great pharmacy and Super Valu beside the hotel which is convenient!

Amazing experience service great food 👌 excellent overall great stay we will come back. The pool was very nice sauna and steam room .this hotel is certainly one of the best experience I have enjoyed as mentioned food from dinner to breakfast fabulous

We had a mis understanding on what time they close the kitchen ,but the kitchen manager help us to get the pizza but it was all burned ,my son didnt enjoy his margarita pizza ,i had to buy him a take away.
