They area was nice, it was definitely historic building

The room smelled moldy, and we had roaches in our room.

Dirty rooms, linens, toilet, floor, and tub permanently stained. Tiny room with only one hard wooden chair. TV remote taped together. Loud staff early in the morning and loud music till late in the lobby. Bugs in the shower and crawling on the breakfast counter. Just a gross uncomfortable stay.

We enjoyed the historic building and walking around the grounds.

The breakfast was slim pickings, which is fine, but what they did have was not stocked - cereal dispensers almost empty, no milk, no hot water for the oatmeal packets, had to ask for more paper plates. The waffle iron worked well. Nice historic hotel

We came from wyoming to see our daughter and family, I made reservations in October 2025. When arriving we were told reservations have been canceled. I stated I didn't cancel, I had confirmation and paid ahead of time. Owner very rude. I've stayed there 2 other times because of the convenience to my daughter's house. We tolerated the smell and dirty rooms. I will tell everyone I know, to never set foot on property.

I should have read the other reviews before booking this hotel. This is a very old, historic hotel and it could be absolutely beautiful IF the owners and management cared. However, it was so dirty they should probably fire their cleaning staff. The bathroom wall tiles were dirty as was the sink and bathtub. I turned on the water in the tub and the water that came out initially was yellow and it stirred up black particles in and around the drain. Thankfully we were there only one night because I skipped the shower. The bathroom door didn't close because the door was too big for the frame. As for the staff, the two at the front desk were young ladies and never once did they smile or acknowledge people as they walked by. When we arrived at 3pm, the street and parking lot were completely blocked off. We didn't realize the Sugar Festival was going on right in front of the hotel. We parked a few streets over and called the hotel to ask where we should park. We were told, "Park in front and when you come in we'll give you a parking pass". I told her the street was blocked off and we couldn't park in front. I would think she should have known that since it had been closed all day. She then told us to find a place to park and they'd give us a parking pass for the bank parking lot. As for the breakfast, it was cold cereal and instant oatmeal as of 9am on a Saturday. All in all, it was the worst hotel experience we've ever had and I absolutely do not recommend it!

Everything! When I check in the first desk had a attitude the room she gave me the key lock wouldn’t work it took them a hr to fix it mind u I checked in at 8 surly they knew all day the lock didn’t work. It took 30 mins for the water to heat up and the ac definitely didn’t work at all I woke up all night just sweating it was awful

The Staff was nice

Television never worked properly. Bathroom dirty. Commode issue. Maintenance never showed.
