There was no heat and it was quite cold outside. Had to go up a few stairs for the first floor.

Nothing. Don’t stay here.

Property was very out dated. Furniture was old and broken. Air conditioners were dirty as well as the sheets. Overall disgusting and filthy. They didn’t reserve us a room until we showed up, even though we booked online and didn’t have the room we booked available. We got the last room. What if we’d have shown up any later, we would have been on the streets.

Don’t let the word HISTORIC lured you into booking this hotel. It’s just old and poorly maintained. The first issue was that we were given a room that had not been cleaned. Back down to the front desk. After much waiting and some attitude from the front desk clerk, we were given a room that at least looked clean but not really. The carpet was dirty. The tub is in need of replacement too. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and the towels were like sand paper. There were no outlets to plug our phone chargers or the lamp that was in the room. While the ceiling fan provided a lullaby with all the noises it was making it kept us awake most of the night. Don’t waste your money stay at one of the newer hotels in town.

The most nasty place ever the place is owned by Mr. Patel and the manager is Lady who no help. Maintenance man smells like weed they have cats that roam the property and get inside the rooms not knowing if guests are allergic or not but look at the room I was given and it smelled. See the pictures below. I never stayed at the hotel but was still billed a full nights stay because I refused to another room the smelled the same. The hotel needs to be renovated or shut down

Where do I begin?!? I'll start with positives. Staff was very nice and helpful. There is a park across the street which at this time of year was beautifully decorated. There is also a pickleball court across from the inn. The people of Clewiston are so nice. We enjoyed talking to so many. Common Grounds coffee shop across the street is very nice with good food and coffee. Now about the Inn: We are Floridians and we were here many years ago when there was a restaurant inside. We ate but did not stay in the inn at that time but always thought we would like to come back. So Dec 2025 we decided to revisit. We booked Dec 29 - Jan 2. Unfortunately whoever bought it has no care for cleaniness, customer services, repair, upkeep or anything else. DO NOT believe any recent reviews that say how beautiful this place is or about eating at the restaurant. That is no longer open. We checked in for 2 rooms, two couples. I should have taken pictures. My friend did and her review is on here, expedia and Google. Please look before you book. Internet pictures by owner are not what you will see. Beds are crap, our bathtub faucets did not work without my husband turning and pushing. There is little if any real cleaning going on. Lampshade was coating in dust and furniture (what little there is) is not dusted. The room was half painted. My friends had to change rooms due to the bed slanting/broken and the new room sink would not drain. Had to brush teeth and wash hands in the tub. And in case you wondered, yes we did did ask staff for help with these things, but they could do much. We left a day early and forfeited our last night fee, but could not stay another night. There is much more to say but you will get the idea.

The hotel is in total disrepair, with broken doors, non-functioning sinks, dirty carpets, and broken furniture. We were moved from our first room when the bed collapsed on one end. In the second room, the bathroom door did not close, the shower curtain rod was rusted, the toilet seat was the wrong size, the window curtain was torn and not able to be opened and the sink stopped draining on the second day. It was a non-refundable rate and we forfeited a night’s rate to leave when brushing our teeth and washing our hands in the bathtub became unbearable.
