Alaska Glacier Lodge

The place was nice and the view was beautiful.

They needed to have their food service open longer. There was no options for food when we arrived about 7pm. There was no breakfast/lunch available at checkout. Prices for the tours were very expensive.

We had helicopter dog sled tour and stayed at Alaska Glacier lodge. The cabins were awesome, the helicopter dog sled tour was one of the best during our trip to Alaska. The pilot was very knowledgeable, navigated through glaciers and wildlife. Just wonderful

Great experience overall! We had lunch, helicopter tour, dinner and stay. Stuff has nice and helpful in the weeks prior and during the stay. Having your cabin looking over the helicopters and to the mountains is a unique view. The cabin was comfortable and clean. Convenient restaurant on site. We chatted with the owner and he brought a recliner chair to our cabin for my pregnant wife. Above and beyond! Fully recommended.

The food options in the restaurants were just OK.

Absolutely 100% recommend, both the tour and the stay. Nice rooms, spatacular view, convinient transportation, breakfast included, overlooking the mountains. The only thing is the resturant service is a little slow, flies late at night outside the cabin.

The Views

Super Nice place, with wildlife around. The thing that disliked us was the breakfast, not good at all.

This place is beautiful! The views are amazing, and it’s definitely worth spending a night here. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The cabins are well maintained and adorable. The restaurant on site had good food and service. 1 of the waitresses knew I wanted to see a moose. On her way home from her shift, she came across a moose about 3 miles from the lodge. She returned to the lodge to let me know about the moose and how to find it. She didn’t have to do that, but I’m glad she did because I got to see the moose. Alaska at its finest! Much better than staying in Anchorage!

We really enjoyed the deck, watching the moose that wondered around the property, and the cabin. Since we didn’t plan to go for a helicopter ride, it probably wasn’t the best location for us. There were limited things to do nearby.

Amazing views!! We enjoyed sitting on our porch admiring the view and watching the helicopters leave and come back from tours. The cabin was spacious. The beds were very comfortable, soft fluffy towels in the bathroom. Alaska Glacier Lodge is a great place to stay.
