"Unpleasant stay"

At first I was excited and things looked okay. As the stay went on, found out the shower head was horrible, room had no phone, had plumbing issues at night and couldn’t find anyone at the front desk. Television had signal problems. Breakfast was okay. Probably won’t stay again or suggest to anyone else.

"BEWARE DISGUSTING"

If I could give zero stars, I would. My stay from July 17-20 was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The room was disgusting. The bed had dried blood on the sheets and comforter. I requested fresh bedding but was told there were no clean comforters, so I got extra sheets. The pillowcases were brown and discolored. We slept without a comforter, and my husband woke up with a stye. Our key card kept deactivating multiple times a day and night. Each time I had to go to the front desk for a new one. No one offered to check the lock or fix it. I spoke with manager Dana, who promised housekeeping would clean the room and bathroom and offered a partial refund. The bathroom and tub were filthy. I bought bleach and shower shoes. Housekeeping wiped the floor with dirty towels and claimed they had no mop. I eventually found someone else to properly clean it. At checkout, no refund was applied. When I called a week later, Dana said points were added to my Choice Rewards account. They never appeared. She promised to call back three weeks ago but never did. I spent over $300 to stay in filth, with broken promises, dirty bedding, and no accountability. Comfort Suites Alexandria North and Choice Hotels failed completely. I would never recommend them.

Staff wasn’t very friendly and the elevator broke as we were checking out so we weren’t able to use the trolley to bring all our stuff down. We had to use the stairs, which was very inconvenient for a family of seven.
