Algilà Ortigia Charme Hotel

This was our fourth stay at the Algila. It was as wonderful as it always has been. Our room was lovely, with a view of the beautiful Ionian Sea. The location of the hotel is great. Most of all the kindness and helpfulness of the staff stands out. This has been true of all of our visits. Special thanks to Sabrina, Magda, Denise, Sonia, Pierro, Enzo and all others whose names escape me, for making the Algila our special home away from home.

A nice location, clean, helpful staff, lovely breakfast. However the rooms are small - not luxury - no robes - no kettle - nothing special to justify the high rates. They did pack us breakfast when we left early but the breakfast packaged was not very good. No outdoor space.

Noisy, tiny room in main building first night . Much too hot and poor value for money . No room to move around , no kettle !! Nowhere to put anything .It had a sea view as advertised but other than that was not good .We hardly slept on the first night with light streaming into the room and street noise . Luckily after speaking to the reservation team we were moved for the rest of our stay to a lovely room in the other building with a side sea view which was far cooler and had space, a kettle and room to move .

A first class service hotel with excellent rooms and a beautiful location overlooking the ocean. We had a private terrace with our room which had stunning views of the water. We greatly enjoyed sitting in the lounge area at night and being served by Piero, who was quite pleasant and helpful to talk with. The breakfasts here were the best we had during our two weeks in Sicily. Also, the rooms were quiet and comfortable. We had plenty of space in our room to spread out and relax at the end of the day.

The hotel is beautiful and located in an area that is quiet and next to the sea but easily assessable to shopping, entertainment, sites, etc. The staff is fantastic! I especially want to call out Alessandro and Pierre. (Hope I spelled their names correctly). What incredible energy and customer service from both of them. The staff in general is amazing. Breakfast is the best we have been offered on our tours of Italy. The rooms are space and beautiful. One of my favorite hotels in all of Italy. Highly recommend

El hotel es precioso. La habitación es grande, la cama muy cómoda, todo muy confortable y bonito. El desayuno increíble!! El personal es atento y solicito.
