Tara Angkor Hotel

As a child I was brought up by parents in Liverpool who learnt you the basics......"Manners". Do they cost you anything? Definitely not! Sitting around the pool for the first time of our month long holiday with my pods in playing music. You have time to contemplate a few things. There's a British woman I've nicknamed "BBB"

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Bath and toilets were clean with good toiletries. Breakfast was good and the restaurant has good choices. Service in restaurant is slow. Spa is not exceptional but very reasonable and serves the purpose after exhausting day tours of The Angkor at 31degree. Tuk Tuk are easily available outside the hotel for sunrise or sunset return trip to the Angkor for Five dollar per person . There is very well stocked Mega store about 5 mins on a Tuk Tuk for anything that you may want to purchase(Food, grocery, chocolates, coffee) The in-house shop is very good and at comparable rates to outside shops for curios, scarves, memorabilia, etc. There is a lovely handicraft and Jewellary shop next door. Worth a look even if you don't wish to buy anything.

We had a great stay at Tara Angkor Comfortable, friendly hotel. Very good breakfast. We had dinner there twice and this was excellent for the price. Staff amazing. They will arrange tours for you and it's very good. Used the cleaning service , was efficient and reasonable price.

I visited this hotel as part of a Mercury Tour, with a 3 night extension. Absolutely loved it - the room, the food and especially the service. All the staff were so helpful and polite, but I would like to mention in particular Sokham and Chhaovorn - they are an asset to your hotel and I would recommend the Tara Angkora to everyone.

Beautiful hotel, very attentive staff, great really great breakfast, wonderful room appointment and room cleaning to doormen to all staff are smiling, nice and efficient! This was our last hotel stay and one of the best, walked to downtown but check tuk tuk too.

Hotel was exceptional. They provide daily cleaning (if preferred) and daily complimentary bottled waters. For each time you ask them to clean your room, they would stock up on your necessities such as toothbrush and the like. The hotel is very close to the Angkor Wat Museum, Royal Palace gate, and the Angkor market. All in walking distance. Also, the proximity to the Angkor Wat Temple is also close. Love the location. Breakfast was included and they provide a variety of dishes daily. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

This hotel was ideal for our groups needs It had a nice restaurant with both local and European dishes. At breakfast, there was a very large selection of food. They still need a couple of tips to improve their score. We dined in the restaurant a couple of nights. I ordered Pina Coladas, which were excellent. I also ordered a small bottle of water, which was just placed on our table without glasses. Bizarre. We had an early return flight and the breakfast opens at 6am. We turned up at 5.50 but they would not let us in. They need an early breakfast area in place. We enjoyed or stay though.

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff, food reasonably priced and very good, we paid for breakfast each morning and wasn’t disappointed we ate in dining too twice and had gorgeouse cake, On the day befor our flight we had a problem as we had been notified of disruption but the manager sorted it out for us and checked us in put our minds at rest I would definitely recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again

I really enjoyed my stay at the Tara Angkor Hotel. The room was very nice. The breakfast was decent and they had made-to-order eggs. The hotel's spa was excellent. The massages there were incredible and reasonably priced. The hotel is about 2 km from the downtown area, but it is easy to get there with a tuk-tuk for $1. The only negative was the wi-fi tended to be slow in the evenings. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This feels like a luxurious hotel at prices that are quite reasonable. The staff is really welcoming. We've come to this hotel more than once and every time, we had the same feeling! Consistency in quality.
