Tara Angkor Hotel

I had to cancel due to flight issues in Vietnam. They asked for a win/win proposal and offered 50/50 split on my 200 reservations. They refused and charged me for an airport shuttle and tour; services I never received. Such a rip off. Complaint submitted to booking.com. They refused to prove hotel owner’s contact info despite several requests in writing. Way better hotels available for better price who will treat you like Family.

Wonderful stay at Tara Angkor Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The location is perfect — just a short ride to Angkor Wat and close to everything in Siem Reap. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of options. Truly a great experience — I would absolutely stay here again!

It is an okay hotel about 3 star. Furniture is a bot dated. Rooms are large and service is excellent. You dont have to pay for water and location is good as travel is so cheap and you can easily get to where you want to

Stayed here for three nights. Very good location from the main attractions. You can walk to pub street (25-30 minutes) or to the Angkor Museum (under a 10 minute walk). Tuk tuk and taxis are also widely available. The breakfast was okay. No cappuccinos available even from the coffee machine. When I requested them for breakfast, the two waitresses just said it was on the machine (which it wasn’t). Rooms are spacious. Laundry services also available at the premises. However, it is a little more expensive to use the service here at the hotel as you’re paying per item. Overall it was a good experience here.

Very nice hotel as part of a Trip a Deal tour. It’s a short ride to the famous Pub Street and all the restaurants. The rooms are clean but the only downfall is a very small bathroom with the shower in the bath. The pool area is great to relax from the heat with good cocktails and cold beer. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and good coffee. I enjoyed my stay and loved Siem Reap overall its lots of things to see and do.

This hotel was perfectly located in terms of us being the last on the pick up list for the sunrise trip to Angkor Wat (more time in bed) and first to be dropped off for a shower at the end of long temple days. The room was huge and the shower was great but unfortunately the mattress was a bit hard so I didn't have the best sleep despite being knackered. Breakfast was good in terms of choice. It was good to have a pool too because Siem Reap is very hot and humid. Short taxi ride into town.

A superb property in Siem Reap. Modest and well appointed rooms, clean as a whistle, excellent breakfast options and co-operative staff. We enjoyed our stay here for 2N and would recommend the hotel for its lovely location and facilities.
