Days Inn by Wyndham Lafayette Near Lafayette Airport

Got there, got a room, walked into room and the 2 beds were on top of each other and one bed frame leaned against the wall. They gave me a different room I ended up having to disconnect the smoke alarm because the battery was dead and kept beeping. The toilet ran all night and barely flushed. All in all a horrible place to stay.

Stayed recently for 10 days for work and was extremely happy with the hotel, staff and location. Mardi Gras happened during this time and there were a lot of people at the hotel enjoying the hotel as well. Never felt uncomfortable or unsafe, area was well lit with staff checking the area during the night as well as during the day. I did notice there seemed to be some rooms that had construction workers and while they tended to spend an hour or so outside their rooms enjoying the night and just relaxing, it was never loud, nor did it create any thoughts of being unsafe. Room was a good size, and quite clean. Staff stopped by daily and offered service. Never saw any pests other than those that tend to be drawn to lights, and this made me mindful to keep my door closed. I hear some people complaining that they wanted to be closer to town, so they were going to check out early and complain about the hotel and staff. Not sure why they would be dishonest about wanting to be closer to friends, but who knows. I will definitely come again and recommend this hotel.

Dirty! Floors left my bare feet black, stinky food left in microwave, food left in refrigerator, front door did not seal and looked like it had been kicked at some point. Mystery bag of something under love seat, stained bed cover, walls paper thin, could hear neighbors on both sides. Felt unsafe. The staff was very friendly.

The room was very clean and there were no pests. Staff was kind and the area was safe.

Booked Days Inn online months in advanced. I knew it would be dated by the reviews but that was fine, as long as it was clean. At check-in it was very questionable and obvious the rooms were not cleaned well. We wrapped our long day up and went to bed. Around 5am in the morning I woke up to check the time on my phone, there was a GERMAN ROACH ON MY PHONE IN THE BED WITH ME! So I jump up and turn the lights on... Baby roaches EVERYWHERE, I MEAN EVERYWHERE! I was disgusted! I immediately went to the front desk to ask to be moved to a different building. The guy at the front could not have cared less! We packed our things up and checked out. Just checked my credit card statement and they charged us FOR SMOKING IN THE ROOM, which we absolutely did NOT DO! This hotel is NASTY, NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING CLEAN AND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY WHEN YOU CHECK OUT! $217 for one night in a filthy roach motel that I wasn't even able to get a full night's rest in!!! The guy at the front also refused to give me a receipt when I checked out, I knew it was going to be an issue at that very moment! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! HORRIFIC!!!!

blood on the sheets, stains on top covers, bathroom FILTHY!!! it was blood on the floor in the bathroom under the sink! it was a lot of people who live there so it’s really sketchy. they watched me and my friends from the car to the door smh. lady at the front office was pleasant.. DONT BOOK HERE!

The people were super nice! It's an older building but the rooms are decent size, well maintained and looked recently remodeled.
