It was a very nice resort. I enjoyed my brief stay. I would love to stay again, when I have more time. The only thing I would suggest is that the room numbers be painted a light color. The wood on the doors is dark and you cannot see them in the dark until you get up super close.

We stayed for two nights and it was amazing. Rooms are huge, kitchen is amazing (even we didn’t use it but it’s nice to have it). Best thing is hot springs included in a stay. Location is excellent it’s just 30 minutes away from amazing Heavenly ski area. It’s nice to spend a day skiing and come back to soak in hot springs. Personnel are amazing as well. Highly recommended. Will be back soon.

We normally enjoy our stay here because of the hot springs and the 1862 Restaurant. This time, though, we noticed a degrading in the property itself, such as the broken elevator both upon arrival and departure dates. We were on the third floor, so no functional elevator was inconvenient and not good for bad knees. The first night of our stay, our daughter’s room was not heated because the heater was broken and needed a part. It was around 20 degrees outside that night! She didn’t sleep well that night. Maintenance was able to fix the heater the next day and housekeeping did bring extra blankets, after the 1st night. When we checked out we asked to speak to management, but were told that someone would call us once they arrived on their shift. We never received a call. We’ve stayed here many times before and usually have no problem , but this time was definitely disappointing, especially with no call back and therefore no explanation or resolution. I hope they can get back on their feet. We did not enjoy this stay and will move on to explore new places.

I booked a recent stay at Holiday Inn Club Vacations David Walley's Resort to boost my friend's morale while in the area for a medical procedure. The featured amenity at David Walley's Resort are the hot springs. During our stay, the hot springs were closed due to a high wind event, which is a fairly normal weather event for the area. The policy, as relayed by the employees of the hot springs and attached market, was not at all accommodating when we went to soak the evening of our arrival, nor was it relayed to us in a pleasant manner during our second attempt at soaking on the morning of our departure. It was explained to us that the pool maintenance staff makes the call regarding safe vs. unsafe conditions, a policy that I'm in agreement with. However, in an area well-known for wind events, it would seem prudent to reduce risk by permanently stabilizing outdoor pool furniture and maximizing indoor soaking opportunities, rather than dropping a blanket closure on the properties signature amenity. If weather conditions warrant an "act of God" closure of the featured amenity and guest safety is at risk, it would seem in the best interests of the corporation, to offer a voucher for day-use hot springs access for a future opportunity, but no such offer was made.
