Loreto Bay Golf & Sea at Baja

This was so horrible that we ended up moving to another resort!!! The floor was so dirty and never cleaned, there was very little to no staff so you have no service or help. The water was cold, wouldn’t come back if it was free!!!!

The front desk Employees need improve customer service

Very noisy, rooms are not soundproof at all. The pillow cases were old and dingy, there were hairs scattered throughout the room counter tops and bedding. I requested room to be cleaned and change of bedding

This property has amazing potential, beautiful beach, the resort grounds are very nice, washrooms etc are very clean. However, the pool is not heated so the swim up bar and pool have no one using it because the pool is very cold. One day the hot tub was too hot to get into, next day luke warm. The staff are hard to recognize as they just wear their street clothes and play with their phones so you have to chase them down to get service, they wont come asking you if want a drink etc. They dont clean up the beach area or organize the loungers etc. There is no pedestrian entrance so you have to walk in and out through the vehicle entrance over ankle twisting cobble to go to nearby restaurants as the only one at the "resort" by the pool is very limited in service. It appears as if no one is actually in charge, its an inexpensive stay but not what a person would expect from a "resort" in Mexico. I would stay again for sure but dont expect resort type service.

I have seen this resort for 10 years! I loved it! I own at the nearby timeshare, but this felt quaint…

We Liked all of it.

We arrived and the outside of the property looks very nice. Unfortunately, everything else was horrible! It was in the low 50 degrees outside and our room had no heat nor any hot water! We had booked the master suite ocean front and had our own jacuzzi. It was empty and when they tried to fill it, no hot water! We were so cold. They brought us a space heater, but it did not work, so they brought us 5 blankets. We were barely able to stay warm, and of course, there was no hot water, so we couldn't take a shower to warm up! Then we ordered room service and they totally overcharged us! Even though we had their menu in our hands, they said the price was higher and they added a surcharge. Stay away from this place...it's nothing like their webpage!!! We have disputed all charges on Amex. We ended up moving to Villa del Palmar, which was absolutely wonderful!

Very beautiful and lovely hotel! Only two things stood out for us that could be improved: Either avoid rooms with connecting doors, or this hotel needs better insulation. Our neighbours were incredibly loud, I thought they were outside our door but turned out they were just a room over and I could hear their conversation ver batim. Wasn’t enjoyable being woken up at 6:45 am to hear their discussion and knowing their exact plans for the day. They were loud themselves, but definitely an avoidable situation. This hotel also really needs a second hot tub. The small one they have was absolutely packed to the brim with people. Other than that, beautiful spot, clean and very friendly staff!

Road trip to Baja

The pillows are old and hard, uncomfortable, the sheets and blankets same thing old and just uncomfortable. The rooms needs remodelimg or at least betee bedding,
