Loreto Bay Golf & Sea at Baja

Upstairs noise was so annoying we couldn't sleep. Free Bottle water for only the first day. Fitness center closed. Spa Closed. Sports Bar Closed. Pool not heated. Towels Frayed & old. Shower did not drain. Sitting water in shower. Cockroach in Bathrm. Had to ask for Blankets. No free Continental Breakfast. Lamp by bed was broken. Tv was Small . NO Fox News... only CNN. Few Channels all in Spanish. Very windy. Front Desk had minimal staff. Only 1 person. Place needed painting. Tile work was chipped out everywhere. 1 elevator. Hot water took forever to warm up for shower. Had to ask for toilet paper...3rd time there... won't go again. Best thing was it's location by the ocean beach...

Beautiful, quiet, friendly

This place is older but nice way outside of town. Cozy but secluded. Limited options for dining .

Location location location ! So much possibility upon arrival and so much disappointment to follow! Room was not very clean, very noisy, outdated amenities in room, no pool towels, jacuzzi broken and whatever you do …Do not eat at the pool restaurant!!! Food was worse than terrible and expensive for being so bad! Staff seemed not to care. Our room finally got cleaned at 4pm. Outside the hotel there are many places to eat so if you have to stay at the hotel do yourself a favor and eat off property! This hotel/resort could be stunning but oh it needs an infusion of care, lots of money and much much better management!

Location was Perfect! Room was comfortable with some minor issues ( lights in bathroom dim, slider door loose bolts , shower water not very hot but adequate ) food at restaurant was excellent . We really enjoyed our stay and will return.

Pros: Good value; fabulous property, great room with balcony and terrace, Great bed. View of the sunrise every morning. Lovely sandy beach in shallow bay in front of hotel, connects to a couple of more miles of walkable beach around Loreto Bay. Pools are not heated, but clean and refreshing. Not crowded, skeleton staff does their best, and does not harass you for anything. (No pressure). Free kayaks and paddle boards. Lots of restaurants nearby. Cons: Rooms, towels, general atmosphere a bit "tired". room smelled 'musty'. A week was enough.

We booked 7 nights here. We stayed 1 night and checked out completely grossed out. The place is clearly in decline and not able to keep up with anything. Our room was VERY Dirty. I had to clean off the outside furniture before we could even sit. Piles of debree on the patio. Dusty room. We couldn’t see out the window it was so filthy. Lack of linens! One drinking glass. Literally had a woven mat taped to the floor. So dirty. The frig was cool would not even keep a pop cold. I could keep going. Extra special was when we complained they didn’t give a crap. We weren’t going to ruin our vacation by staying. We left with no refund for our remaining 6 nights. One plus was the beach and view were gorgeous. They can’t possibly last much longer.

Always peaceful during the month of February, this is our 3rd time at the resort. It is calm, simple, with nice rooms and a fantastic location to rest: walking on the beach and kayaking are our main activities. You can snorkel too but the water was pretty cold this year. Beautiful birds life too, especially with pelicans. It is close to Loreto which wan adorable town to visit: full of history ((1st mission built), friendly and clean.

Very nice setting looking out on Bahía de Concepcion. The hotel is set up in a semi circle so everyone gets a view of the bay or the golf course. Very thorough friendly daily maid service unlike a lot of other hotels these days. Restaurant reasonably priced, food okay. Water in the shower was not very hot. Bicycles were TERRIBLE! I yelled at them, flat tires, bone dry chains, bikes 3 days older than God! About 10 km from Loreto, we had a car so no big deal for us but those flying in will be dealing with taxis to access the town
