Cala Millor Garden, Adults Only

The hotel is adults only but it is opposite a kids play area and there is a go kart place that we could hear in our room until it finishes at 12 midnight. There are big smelly bins that you have to walk past outside the hotel each day too. The shops are close by as is the beach too so in a great location overall. It would be good if they had some cocktails of the day to try. The food was ok and a good selection of choice and veggie options too.

We came here for a 5 night stay in July and 5 nights felt like more than enough. The hotel is in need of some care and attention- our room was run down, there was damage to flooring and the shelf fell inside the wardrobe, the door to the hotel room itself wasn’t very secure and didn’t do a great job of keeping noise out. The hotel itself needs a lick of paint, there were damaged sun loungers and umbrellas. The food had a decent selection- something for everyone but we did eat out two of the five nights as the food felt mediocre at best. The staff were very friendly and attentive, they couldn’t of done more to help! The evening entertainment was mediocre and felt a bit cringe and “brits abroad”. The pool area is an ok size, but sun loungers by the water was limited and people were down first thing putting their towels down. The gym was terrible, most of the equipment was broken, missing dumbells and very few plates. If you are a regular gym goer- you will really struggle here. Overall, this place felt like a 3 star hotel in need of some tlc, an ok place to stay for 5 nights but I wouldn’t go back again.

Perfect for a couple holiday !! Friendly staff ! Amazing entertainment in the day and evening ! Two pools and plenty of seating and sun beds ! Snack bar open all afternoon for drinks and food ! The suite was amazing comfy beds and two balcony’s with perfect views ! Food in evening has good selections and different every night ! We’ll definitely be booking again !

Loved this hotel - very central to shops and a 3-5 min walk to the beach - all the staff are very friendly frbut m reception to the bar staff , I want to recognise Mohammed young man working in the bar he was so friendly and superb customer service , the entertainment is brilliant lead by Ally he is so much so fun puts his heart and soul into making sure everyone enjoys their holidays , he would be a miss if he ever left for sure - if you’re on the fence about booking don’t hesitate brilliant value for money

- Clean but basic rooms. - Pools are clean and well maintained. - Staff are very friendly. - Food is basic but tasty. They have themed nights which provides variety. - There is entertainment during the day every day apart from Sundays. There’s also evening entertainment.

Arrived Sunday 13/7 for a 7 night stay. A group of 6 of us. We had a slight delay on departing & an hour transfer from the airport to Cala Millor. Thankfully, lunch was still being served as we arrived and the hotel ambassador - the very helpful, happy, enthusiastic and welcoming Gloria invited us to have lunch before we checked in. Lunch done, we returned to reception and we checked in - check in was accompanied by a glass of fizz….nice touch. Pool towels provided at reception and we were advised that it’s €1 per towel for a fresh, clean towel as & when required. We had 3 rooms on the 5th floor, all with a sea view or panoramic view; rooms are tidy & clean, beds very comfortable & enough storage space. There’s a mini fridge in the room. Lovely shower!!! There’s a hairdryer in the bathroom. The rooms were cleaned daily & fresh towels provided. The property is kept very clean & tidy and the grounds are well maintained. It could perhaps do with a lick of paint here and there but only a minor cosmetic refurb is perhaps required. Water stations/coolers/dispensers on each floor & at the restaurant & pool bar to refill your water bottles…..no need to constantly pop to the shops for bottled water!!! Food was good; the usual food you’d expect from an AI; great breakfast, lunch and dinner - themed dinners most nights, Greek, Indian, Arabic, Majorcan etc. Snacks served at the pool bar are 11am ‘til 1pm, food cooked to order. The snack bar (for hot food) could be open longer during the day, either side of lunch perhaps. They do offer a selection of fruit, ice cream & pastries throughout the day Pool bar is open 10-6 & is self serve for soft drinks; decent lager (San Miguel) and a good selection of spirits, cocktails & fizz. 2 pools, & a whirlpool; plenty of sun-beds parasols etc. (some of the sun-beds & parasols could do with replacing) Daytime activity programme including Archery, AquaFit, AquaBike, Water Polo, water volleyball, beach volleyball, Rifle Shooting, Bike Riding, cookery demonstrations…. The entertainment team are SUPERB….. Evening entertainment was singers, acrobats, a quiz, a ‘White Party’ with a brilliant DJ. Special mention to the brilliantly entertaining Aly & Kassy….. they make the entertainment, daytime & evening…. their enthusiasm and energy is constant. The reception team are incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant staff are also excellent & will fetch you a drink to go with your lunch & dinner. The same staff also work the bar at the outside entertainment area in the evening….. they are brilliant, particularly Muhammed, Jose & Mario….. they got to know our drinks order off by heart & a nod or a wave in their direction when we arrived at the bar or when we needed a top up during the evening & our round of drinks was sorted & brought to our table….. again, they were helpful, enthusiastic, charming & funny. We had a wonderful holiday at a lovely hotel which is being run by brilliant people. Thank you Cala Millor Garden Hotel. The hotel is located away from the seafront but still only a 5 minute or less walk away from either the promenade, shops and restaurants. We stayed for 10 nights with friends the hotel being adult only and all inclusive. The building itself looks well maintained overall but the internal decoration lets it down. It almost appears as if the doors, door frames and furniture were once a dark wood finish. They have all been painted with what looks like white emulsion from a distance but is more hard wearing than that so probably similar to “Zinser” type primer giving it a work in progress feel. We found the beds comfortable and the bathroom well maintained. The only real let down was clothes storage. There was a two door wardrobe with 10 hangers and a couple of shelves, a desk type drawer and two bed side drawers but too small for any clothes storage. We ended up keeping most of our clothes tops etc. in the suitcases. However we could not fault the room cleaning which was executed well and always by lunch time. Overall we found the restaurant food to be pretty average, poorly labelled and repetitive. Although there were themed evenings the bulk of the dinner offering was very much the same each evening. We therefore decided to eat out on three occasions for some variation. Breakfast was the most disappointing meal. Both the preparation and ingredients were a let down. There were two guys manning the egg station on varying mornings. One of the guys could not break an egg intact whatsoever and I have seen more attractive roadkill. The bacon appeared to be processed and invariably undercooked. What was very surprising was the facility for toast preparation. There were three 2 slice toasters in the far corner which led to both guest frustration and wasted bread. Why they could not have the usual “conveyor toaster” like most other hotels of this size is surprising considering there are two robots which transport the crockery between the clearing stations and the kitchen. Lunch was generally the most enjoyable meal, the only downside was the wet chairs. The chairs have padded seat squabs which unfortunately guests sit on directly after leaving the pool without drying off so you do not know until you sit down. The restaurant, bar and entertainment staff work incredibly hard serving drinks, clearing tables promptly and always cheerful and friendly despite working such long hours. Reception staff were similarly most helpful and friendly dealing with any requests promptly and in good humour. Evening entertainment was mixed, during our stay we enjoyed 3 evenings the most, two of which were differing acrobats/jugglers. As with most hotels of this type don’t go expecting a relaxing start to the day, having breakfast and then wandering off to the pool. Sunbeds are reserved at the crack of dawn then vacated most of the day and compact in their layout. You may get the odd bed which has been left on the grass if you are lucky. If like me you go on holiday to relax with no stress and want a sunbed then I would not recommend this hotel.

Just back from a 5 night stay here and we cannot fault anything. Rooms clean and clean towels etc provided each day. We stayed all inclusive and food and drinks were fab! Especially with me being such a picky eater there was always something for me to eat breakfast , lunch and dinner! Cocktails were very good compared to other hotels I've stayed at that provide all inclusive option. Sunbed situation that I've read in previous reviews I do not understand as some days we went down around 2pm and always got sunbeds together and plenty to choose from. Entertainment and staff are exceptional in this hotel and couldn't do enough for you. To top it off we also got engaged at this hotel so it will always hold a special place for us. Will 100% be back!!

Having just spent a week here. Very pleasant stay. But certainly is not a 4 Star! Food is ok but gets a bit repetitive. They don’t label things up correctly. Nice and clean but a bit shabby in places. They are not very hot on health and safety, be careful when entering the outside dining area first thing in the morning. They like to leave a wet towel down and floor has been quite dangerous! Staff are very nice and work very hard. Don’t bother getting a massage as the masseuse can only be 17 and likes to check her phone. Wonder if they will reply to this one lol

A wonderful holiday, couldn’t fault it! Everything gets 5⭐️’s, hotel, staff, room,food and entertainment. All the staff deserve a mention, they were all friendly, polite and helpful, Gloria in the reception area and Ali & the entertainment team deserve a special mention. A big thank you to all the staff for making our holiday specIan. We will return!
