Cala Millor Garden, Adults Only

After spending 10 days here I can say we had a lovely holiday staff very friendly food was good plenty to choose from and we had the set meal on the Thursday of our last night there and it made a welcome change to be waited on with table cloth and napkins my two disappointments are there are not enough sunbeds and you have to be up early to put a towel on which when I'm on holiday I like to chill one couple put towels on before they went to bed which is not done my other gripe is having to pay one euro for clean beach towel when towels in bathroom can get changed every day and the beds doesn't make sense.

Went there for our honeymoon last September and we are returning in July 25 for my wife's 50th birthday. Beautiful hotel and amazing location.

We booked for a short getaway break. The hotel was perfect for everything we needed. We felt quite pampered by the facilities. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. We always found a sun bed and there were plenty of places to sit, if you wanted to be in the shade the food was always hot and plenty of selection/ variety the availability of fruit and salads was brilliant. Our room was on the 6th floor. This was meticulously cleaned every day whilst we were there. The beds were comfy and the air con was appreciated as the weather was extremely hot. The hotel supports sustainability and has its own garden. The staff are also attentive and nothing is too much trouble. We just wished we were staying for longer . Thank you

This hotel is nice, knocked one star off because it doesn’t feel like a four star hotel, it feels like a three star hotel. Rooms have everything you’d need with the basics, beds comfy, absolutely spotless with some bits needing a revamp. Hotel is beautiful and well kept all round. Loungers near the big pool are extremely close together and need to be ‘reserved’ early morning to get one, the hotel do not stop people ‘reserving’ even though it states they do. The thing that really lets the hotel down is the food and drinks; it’s all the same basic bland choices everyday. The cocktails are from a machine, spirits all cheap (branded ones not included in all inclusive), water dispensers are a great touch however the cups etc provided were never clean (only unclean thing in the whole hotel). Parasols are mostly broken or hard to put up so need changing. Cala millor is great and this hotel is one of many a short walking distance into the resort which is fab and a five minute walk to the beautiful beach. No point going all inclusive if visiting. If the prices reflected a three star hotel I’d revisit for sure but not whilst the prices are what they are (based on it being four star).

I'm coming to the end of my 10 day stay at this hotel, spotlessly clean, the food has plenty of choices to suit everyone, the staff are exceptional they can't do enough for you, I have one serious issue and that's there's not enough sun loungers for everyone, unless your up by 7.30 to claim one your out of luck, even though there are a few around the gardens they don't have umbrella's for shade, your constantly having to move, this is such a shame as due to this problem I wouldn't come here again. One other thing I don't understand is you have to pay 1 euro for a clean beach towel, this doesn't make sense to me when you can have clean towels every day in your room🤷‍♀️

We have just spent 7 nights in the Cala Millor Gardens Hotel. We were a group of four, my husband and myself and my parents. We had the most amazing holiday. Lets start with the positives :) - The staff in the hotel are outstanding from the reception, restaurant & bar staff, aly and cassi of the entertainment team, chefs and the cleaning women everyone was so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. They really cared about the guests, looking to say hello and check you were okay. We had read reviews just before we arrived that the food wasn’t the best but we couldn’t fault the food, we ate in the A la carte restaurant on one night of our stay, the food and service was amazing we felt like we where in a restaurant not just in the hotel. The food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was very good a variety of cereal, cooked meats, hot and cold food as well as salads, fruits and always a variety of dessert. The usual theme nights you would find with a selection of food, some reviews state about food being over cooked we never felt this was the case and was well stocked and replaced as and when required. One member of our group was gluten free and the staff couldn’t have done any more to provide food and service. It was by far the best food in any hotel we’ve stayed in, on the first day at breakfast we said at reception about being gluten free and the chef and manager came out showed us what was available and advised of bread, pasta, pizza or dessert was needed just to ask staff and this would be provided. All inclusive drinks, all local spirits, beers, wine included and you could also get a selection of cocktails at the pool bar while a wider range was available in the evening. A fridge is in the room and kettle can be provided by just asking at reception. Entertainment - Aly and Kassi from the entertainment team are fantastic, we took part in water polo and water volleyball, shooting, archery, origami towel creation and cookery demonstrations, all enjoyable and if you didn’t want to join in you weren’t forced a good mix of encouragement. The evening entertainment was good, the usual singers and groups with Saturday evening Beijing Acrobatics definitely a highlight of our holiday. Spa - we did use the spa, having a facial and back massage which were lovely, very relaxing and worth every penny. Also in a quiet area of the hotel so really able to relax. Location - hotel is situated less than 5 mins walk from the main shops, bars and restaurants with about maximum 10 mins walk to the beach with sun beds and parasols available for €15 for the day. Not going to say negatives but areas for improvement :) - Arriving at the hotel after 14:30 - we arrived at the hotel around 14:45, lunch finished at 14:30 we asked about food as had been on the go from 03:00 that morning and told no food was available only light snacks of fruits and buns (muffins / croissants) where available in the pool bar and we would have to wait until dinner for something more. This was a little frustrating as normally when arriving at an all inclusive hotel outside food times something is provided so think this would be beneficial for the future even cold salad and bread would be better than just fruit. Rooms - Rooms and corridors of the hotel where a little tired and could do with some paint and freshen up but otherwise it was extremely clean. The bathrooms were equipped with lovely big showers and the beds were extremely comfortable also. Other than these two small areas of improvement we had the most lovely holiday and are definitely looking at going back again next year, it was nice to hear that lots of other people return to the hotel each year also.

We’ve stayed at this hotel five times already, and we’re planning to come back again in October for my 25th birthday. The atmosphere is amazing and we always feel welcome here. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. This time we had only a partial sea view, but we were still happy with the room. Housekeeping came daily, and towels were changed whenever we asked. The food was great as always – a wide variety, fresh meals, and tasty desserts. The restaurant and bar staff were very kind and attentive. A special thanks to the animation team – Kasshy and Aly, who made our stay full of fun and energy! Also big thanks to waiter Mohamed for his professional service and friendly smile. The hotel is in a great location – everything is within walking distance. Nearby you’ll find shops, a local market, and a pharmacy. We always feel safe, the hotel area is gated and the rooms have safes.

Arrived into reception just after 10.30am from a 05.55am flight from Stansted. Very nice easy check in, not keen on wrist bands but didn’t mind this plaited navy blue bracelet with your key on it, never having to worry who’s got the key when leaving your room. I was travelling with my mother who’s in her 80’s and did request a lowest floor room. But we got floor 5!!! Reception area nice and clean so looked promising once we got into our room which was a corner room overlooking the children’s amusement park go carts etc, you could just see the sea in the distance. Bed was clean and comfy but found that the bed legs a tripping hazard and also kept catching our little toes, badly designed room with a useless dressing table as it had no mirror or power points to do your hair/make up in. So had to use the bathroom but with no natural light found it hard for us to use. Got given two blue pool towels. If you wanted fresh ones it cost €1 to change. Not a lot I know, but never had this anywhere in the world, Always towel station. Got to the pool as both tired but no beds available.. yes you guessed it all taken with towels but no bodies upon them 🤣 Pools very clean and gardens are well kept. Breakfast lunch and dinner you could always find something to eat, I did struggle as don’t eat meat. Tried fish a few nights but never to sure what it was. Drinks not very good sprits it says absolute but listening to lots of vodka drinkers they said it wasn’t. I’m not a drinker so just had soft and water. Entertainment around the pool can get very loud but you just fall in love with Aly He made everyone smile. Evening entertainment was very good but the whole place closed down at 10pm Beach, shops and restaurants easy 5 min walk Check out was early morning pick up 06.45am not the warmest good bye just asked for the safe key, no how was your stay, or have a good flight home. Transfers to airport we were the only two so no stops great. Flight on time easy airport to get around. My tips for this hotel are Take your own hair dryer as one in bathroom is useless and take your own pool/Beach towels.

To sum it up briefly, our stay here was perfect. My fiancée and I came as a last-minute getaway, just expecting cheap & cheerful, and we had probably one of the best holidays we have ever had. The hotel and outdoor area were beautiful, immaculately clean, and in a fantastic location. The resort is such a short walk to the local shops and the beach, and a stone’s throw from English bar “The Sportsman” with nightly karaoke for that little taste of home. The daytime activities were brilliantly fun, in no small part thanks to Kassi who was so fun and engaging throughout our stay (and who we hope to see at The Warehouse in Preston at Halloween!). The evening entertainment was great too – the Usambara acrobatic group were absolutely incredible! The food options were great and varied each day, but with the staple “safe foods” (pizza, pasta, chips etc.) put out every day, so there really is something for everyone - even fussy eaters like us! All of the staff throughout the resort were so friendly, checking in with us regularly to make sure we were happy with everything. We honestly have not got a bad word to say about our stay, and we are so excited to return here next year. Loved it!

We stayed here for a week in May.Lovely reception area checked in by Valerie(believe that was her name).Who was very thorough with her information.Room was spotlessly clean but in need of some TLC bed uncomfortable,not enough storage space,Shower floor not secure lucky enough a grab bar to hold on to food poor hot food lukewarm salad poor choice,no cold meats so every night it was pizza or tuna.ended up filling up with bread.Staff were always pleasant and friendly.The best thing about this hotel is the location set in beautiful gardens a lovely peaceful place to relax.In my view it's not worthy of a 4 star rating.Was our first time here but they won't be a 2nd.
