Woolpack Inn

Good easy parking. Car visible from room. Bed comfortable enough, plenty of tea and coffee etc.,TV in room. Room warm and comfortable, if a bit dated. Breakfast very good.

Room no charging sockets . bathroom hot tap dangerous. arrived quite late put my bag in room, went to bar just before 11pm. for a quick drink, as a resident , to be told sorry we've stopped serving. Shower in room stained around the base, but otherwise worked fine.

Size of room reasonable, nice & clean, not too noisy & hurrah a full length mirror in a well lit position, which is often not the case in hotels these days. I also liked water cooler in entrance very useful.

Only one clothes hanger in wardrobe area ridiculously stingy! Breakfast also could have been a bit more generous with more options though cooked food was nice

Breakfast was lovely. Freshly cooked. Plenty of choice. All the staff were friendly. Rooms were very clean. Lots of information on the area.

The room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was good . Sky television in the bar was good as we wanted to watch the darts.We had an evening meal which was very nice

The double bed was a wooden one which I don't like, however we slept fairly well.

The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely and had a few options, and the hot breakfast was really nice. Staff were always friendly and helpful, it felt like you could ask them any questions and they were very accommodating.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful However all rooms were on ground floor no keys to lock the windows on a jar It was an exceptionally hot night so didn't feel comfortable having to have the windows open while sleeping Very basic room NO Fan The room was extremely over priced for what you got. No facility for a working deck just one small table with a tray kettle tea/coffee I had to move one of the bedside table which I put the tray on so I could use my laptop I can't believe they are charging £150 per night for a £50 room very extortionate I feel like I was robbed I have stayed in a Hilton hotel not to far away from the woolpack They have a swimming pool sauna etc and that was £140.00 I don't mind paying the money but the woolpack gets a big NO NO from me If the prices were acceptable I would stay again but no way now would I ever go back They are robbing people The tv was for too small for the room and the location of tv in room was bad

Extremely over priced for the quality of room very low standard for a lot of money

Room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Very warming and friendly.

Cooked breakfast could of catered for Vegetarians. Perhaps a vegetarian sausage and hash brown.
