Best Western Roslyn-Long Island Hotel

I like the place it’s a good hotel.

The air-conditioner/heating unit in the room was quite loud, and the fact that the hotel is on a very busy street didn't help.

Nice breakfast. My birthday there.

Cramped. No receipt emailed to me yet.

Clean well located and easy to park

While the rooms are clean and in decent condition, everything in this hotel is unacceptably small. The king room had less than 100 square feet; there was less than 2 feet between either side of the bed and the wall; no seating; nowhere to put suitcases without blocking where you walk, and a desk and storage that were far to small to be usable. The bathrooms are just as small – if you are over 5’10” or over 200 pounds, you will NOT be able to fit into the shower without a major struggle. The common areas are just as cramped: There is no lobby whatsoever; the elevator can only comfortably fit 2 people and is slow; and the breakfast area only has 4 tables (and rather than add any expansion management just put up a sign demanding guests leave immediately after eating to make room). Finally, the rooms have no soundproofing: Expect to hear a lot of road noise, which is especially problematic as the building is directly facing Northern Boulevard. All in all I cannot recommend this hotel. We left after the first night (with the hotel refusing to refund the charges for a second night) to book at the Inn at Great Neck for roughly the same price.

Room was small, parking was tight, breakfast was cold. Was not worth the price we paid.
