Best Western Roslyn-Long Island Hotel

I rarely leave reviews despite staying in many hotels, including other locations of the Holiday Inn, but I felt compelled to share this experience. During my recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Roselyn, I had an issue with the front desk clerk where I was yelled at and disrespected that I reported to IHG customer service/support. Unfortunately, my complaint was forwarded directly to the hotel manager, who was the same person I had the issue with. This creates a clear conflict of interest, and I doubt any action will be taken to address the situation appropriately. I have stayed at multiple hotels without ever needing to write a complaint, but this experience left me feeling dismissed and unheard as a guest. I hope that corporate management will review how guest concerns are handled to ensure fair and unbiased resolutions in the future.

rooms are too small

It was close to Long Island University.

The price was a little high for one night

Parking was convenient. Location was convenient. Breakfast was meh. Many of the items weren’t available—we went to breakfast at 8 but a lot of that food was gone and not replenished. It wasn’t great anyway.

Tiny room. Very noisy. Very old building and rooms have not been renovated. Old and somewhat dingy and not inexpensive. Elevator is teensy.

It was better than many of the Holiday Inn Express Hotels I've stayed at in the past. You get what you pay for, decent with comfortable bed

The room are very small, and fairly noisy (from floor above and neighboring rooms). Original room had non-functioning air conditioner, but we were given another room promptly. Breakfast was average. No amenities on property.

Location

Front facade was seedy as was the entrance area giving us a bad vibe. The check in clerk was unpleasant. He wouldn’t let us check out the room and more importantly, would not allow one of to use a bathroom until we were checked in.
