Alta Vista de Boracay

The property is tucked away from the crowded places. Nice and quiet with beautiful backgrounds and views of nature. The staff are exceptional, very accomodating, always smiling and respectful. The foods are good. Would be nice if they have kakanin like bihingka, puto bungbong, puto puti, banana-Q or turon.

The bathroom and shower are quite old and need to update. The bathtub and shower in one is not safe at all. Can be slippery when getting out. The towel rails are too high for 5’1” like me.

Location is perfect, away from the crowd and shuttle service is pretty convenient.

During our 5 day stay, the pool was under maintenance! Very disappointing as it is one of the reasons we chose this hotel.

Not many choices—most items on the menu were unavailable. We came in hungry with kids, and almost nothing could be ordered. We waited nearly two hours, and even the drinks were served last. The only thing we clearly remember from this restaurant is hearing the word “unavailable” over and over again. It was a really bad experience overall. There seemed to be no manager or proper supervision, and the staff didn’t know how to handle the situation. At one point, water was even spilled on one of our guests. This place requires new management and staff training, it was all our first time in Boracay and this experience was dissapointing

Service is good and staff are very friendly

This is an exclusive premium resort, ideal when you prefer privacy, relaxation, peace and nature with proximity to 2 of the best beaches with special private driver shuttle upon your demand and regular shuttle booking options to white beach and D'Mall. The view is amazing with sunset and sunrise, green hills, you see monkeys and birds. I loved the yoga class and breakfast buffet with fresh egg stations and the infinity pool overlooking the island. The staff is super nice and they really arrange and cater flexibel to your wishes, it's a 5 star plus service and it's reminds me on Anantara.

The whole resort is 18 years old and you see it, the buildings would be much nicer looking freshly painted with some renovation, the rooms are spacious but the furniture is a outdated, the AC is loud. The jacuzzi was without bubble stream function. I think the biggest opportunity would be investment in maintenance and renovation to match the premium position and aspiration.
